World Leaders or The View? Misplaced Priorities of a President

While world leaders gathered at the United Nations to meet about this very volatile time in the Middle East, and Israel pleads for a few moments to discuss a nuclear Iran with Obama, the President of the United States had more important things to do.
Yes, when you are President of a world super power, you must establish clear priorities when you are in such high demand.
So, President Obama flew to New York arriving at ABC’s Manhattan studios with First Lady Michelle Obama. There he would make an appearance on “The View”.. The president brought host Barbara Walters — who was celebrating her 83rd birthday — a gift basket that included M&Ms, Marine One playing cards and some coveted White House-brewed beer.
Then Obama — who is trying to maximize his appeal to female voters — turned on the charm, commenting on being the only man on the chat show’s stage.
“I told folks I’m just supposed to be eye candy here for you guys,” he cracked.
Back in DC, White House spokesman Jay Carney was grilled by reporters who wanted to know why Obama didn’t have any bilateral meetings with world leaders on his schedule.
