Obama Camp Asks People To Do Election Phone Banks While Hurricane Sandy Hits

The Obama campaign expects people under the threat of a hurricane to be concerned about his campaign.
His camp sent out emails Sunday encouraging its volunteers to “phonebank” from Annapolis, Maryland on Monday at 5:30 PM.
The worst part of Hurricane Sandy is supposed to be hitting the region around that time.
From the email a tipster sent in:

Subject: Hey Jennifer, pitch in for Virginia this Monday

Jennifer —

This past week, President Obama visited eight states in two days on his America Forward! tour. He hardly slept, he talked himself hoarse, and he was constantly on the move.

He knows, just like you and I do, that what matters most in the last days of this election is what we do on the ground: The voters we talk to. The issues we discuss. Every step we take to help get people to the polls for President Obama and other Democrats.

Folks in Annapolis are getting together on Monday to make some phone calls into Virginia.

Can you make it?
What: Phone bank in Annapolis

Where: 47 Spa Road
Annapolis, MD 21401

When: Monday, October 29th
Shifts start at 5:30 pm

Or check out all of the phone banks near you.

With this election as close as it is, every voter we talk to could make the difference between winning and losing.

Let’s make sure we wake up on November 7th without any regrets.

Sign up for the phone bank now:

Right now on CNN, BO just said he its not concerned about his campaign, his only concern is making sure people are safe lol, he had canceled his campaign dinners tonight and tomorrow, friggin last

    • Rene

      DrToddk,
Remember that Obama left as soon as one person asked him about Sandy on the Elections.. Duck and Hide Obama

  • MH Snider

While Mitt Romney asks people to donate to the victims of Sandy Obama asks people to donate to him. This alone you would think would wake most people up. Half the country has Stockholm Syndrome, we as a country are so doomed:-(

  • Romney is SO the better man for the job!!

  • Love how all the mainstream media in Chicago are reporting that Obama stopped campaigning due to Sandy, and Romney had no choice, but to do the same! Jerks. Praying for a safe night through the storm for all!

  • VoteBlueOrPrepareToMakeItWorse

You’re all idiots… I’m in the impact zont of the storm, which is no longer classified as a hurricane, and I would gladly go outside in the pouring rain and high winds to vote against Romnesia. President Obama himself did not ask anyone to do anything, most likely some idiot working on his campaign did that, and WHO CARES what those people do? You’re comparing the actions of an intern with the actions of a failed governor who is running for office.. IDIOTS. Please, don’t breed.. there are too many of your kind in this world already.

    • You’re not paying attention, it says, “Obama CAMP”, not Obama. Besides, Obama “is” an intern. And you said it yourself, “idiots work on his campaign”. Add to that idiots voting for him. I promise you, you can’t give me one good reason why you’re voting for Obama. Remember I said a “good” reason. I will refute any reason you give with verifiable facts that show you are wrong to use it as a reason to vote for him. A-a-a-and go!

      • alaskan_patriot

anything from him yet? i haven’t gotten any good reasons froms friends and relatives as to why they’re voting for obama either.

      • alaskan_patriot

i present all the facts i can in opposition of obama and in favor of romney, they refuse to see anything. i can see them bawling and raging when obama loses. he really is their savior. whats scary is hitler’s followers were just as infatuated.

  • I am ashamed and so disappointed that I actually have family members who are voting for Obama. I mean, I know people have a right to vote for whom they want, but I can say unequivocally that people who vote for Obama do not know why they are doing it. I have done my own questioning of these people and they truly do not know why they are voting for him. It is a phenomenon on a mass scale and defies explanation. When you give them reasons why to vote for Romney; solid, verifiable reasons, they stare blankly at you. You can talk about his business/economic background; you can talk about his personal character. They just sit there like a deer in the headlights. When you give reasons why NOT to vote for Obama; documented, easily provable reasons, like how many times he has pulled the executive privilege stunt, or how he blocks job creation and then lies about how many jobs he has created, or doing the old end-around on Congress to pass arbitrary policy, or suing states in our union who do not comply with his anti-constitutional policies; all this and they tell you it’s just made up bulls**t. You can actually SHOW them that it’s all true and they don’t care. I agree with MH Snider who posted that “half the country suffers from Stockholm Syndrome”. Sad fact is, that number of people is growing, and will grow exponentially if Obama wins re-election. It’s all about turn out people. YOUR VOTE DOES MATTER! Vote Romney if you love your freedom. Vote Romney if you love individual liberty. Obama MUST go!
