On Drone Foreign Policy- Will Propaganda Sway the Undecideds?

Facebook Sharing

At this point in the election cycle, the “undecideds” are the target.

The state of this drone-based presidency’s foreign affairs and policy is clear. Will undecideds buy the fiction — from Israel, Libya, and Egypt, to Pakistan and Afghanistan? There is good reason this POTUS is endorsed by Castro, Chavez, and Putin… ideological alignment.

Some interesting insights by the master of propaganda for the Third Reich….

“Success is the important thing. Propaganda is not a matter for average minds, but rather a matter for practitioners. It is not supposed to be lovely or theoretically correct. I do not care if I give wonderful, aesthetically elegant speeches, or speak so that women cry. The point of a political speech is to persuade people of what we think right… We do not want to be a movement of a few straw brains, but rather a movement that can conquer the broad masses. Propaganda should be popular, not intellectually pleasing. It is not the task of propaganda to discover intellectual truths.”

Speech by Joseph Goebbels on 9 January 1928 to an audience of party members at the “Hochschule für Politik”, a series of training talks for Nazi party members.

“One day soon National Socialism will be the religion of all Germans. My Party is my church, and I believe I serve the Lord best if I do his will, and liberate my oppressed people from slavery….

…the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily.”

Aus Churchills Lügenfabrik” (“Churchill’s Lie Factory”), 12 January 1941.

Will a majority of Americans continue to buy the big collectivist lie?

I am amazed that anyone could be undecided at this point…. either they haven’t done their homework or they just don’t want to be bothered.

I agree, Joanna. Yet, here we sit, with undecided voters who may sway the election. The risks of a Constitutional Republic with democratic electoral process. “You have a Republic, if you can keep it…” I’ve posted a link to a few more comments about my article above, in the next comment.
