Thankful Collectivists…. Not So Fast!
Thankful Collectivists? No So Fast.
America’s choice of a collectivist government this November indicates “progressive” goals have been achieved — at least by a slim majority (if we assume for a minute these elections were legitimate… as there are many reasons to believe otherwise). Yet, regardless a real or faux majority, this progressive win does not define our future. It does define our challenge and hope, however. In this, we should be thankful. Collectivism becomes our future only if we lose hope, lose faith, and stop fighting.
How did we get here? Progressives (socialists, communists, fascists… collectivists all… and their useful idiots and followers) have been consciously and some unconsciously (those useful idiots) working since the mid-to-late 1800’s to eventually realize their goal of building a majority coalition of liberty-ignorant mis-fits, beggars, and thieves — a.k.a. progressive voters.
This progressive coalition is led by an ever expanding and very powerful alliance of education associations, media, special interest groups, unions, NGOs, entertainment, the U.N., church groups (I know, hard to believe), elected representatives in all levels of government, and secretive global organizations who stand to profit from America’s demise and the elimination of individual liberty and free-markets.
This collectivist coalition — and their global elitist backers — realized progressive voters would eventually become so blinded, by design, to the real core American value proposition that they would be willing and easily motivated to trade the massively superior value of individual liberty and free-market economics for a mess of pottage.
Each progressive voter apparently lost sight — out of ignorance, arrogance, or stupidity — of the massively superior value of their own individual freedom, ability to make their own choices, and to determine their own life course. They lost sight of the superior value of liberty, via a manipulated emotional focus on, and encouragement of, their pet peeves and soap-box issues.
Some were blinded by the constant media and entertainment driven misdirection of “class differences” (a fallacy that cannot take place, by definition, in truly free-market economies). Some were blinded by propagandized racial differences, gender differences, or religious differences and accepted the fairy tale of state enforced “equality and social justice”. Still others were blinded by the arrogant and misguided crusaderism of the “me generation” and their attempts to force others to adopt their own ideals, morals and values — forgetting they were trampling the most important value of liberty and self-determination in the process. Still others were blinded by their emotive dysfunctions of hatred, jealousy, and inordinate competition, easily leveraged by mainstream propaganda that would make Goebbels blush with envy.
Regardless the drivers behind the progressive voter’s desire to throw America away to achieve that which cannot be achieved — a utopia of promised perfect safety, security, equality and social justice — they have gained in numbers and force such that they are possibly now able to permanently destroy America and usher in the dark ages of collectivist tyranny. Sadly, most who voted for this evil have been duped and do not realize they are simply trading the liberty of self-determination for the tyranny of centrally planned slavery.
What can we expect now? With another four years of this hyper-destructive progressive POTUS and SOTUS, we can expect continued and possibly irreversible erosion of our individual liberties, free-market economics, and other founding principles. Most dangerous, we can expect a move towards a permanent majority collectivist electorate. In short, anti-collectivist Americans who value our founding principles will potentially become the permanent minority.
What is our hope and for what can we give thanks on Thanksgiving? Regardless what appear to be the insurmountable forces of evil, this is not the first time in America’s history or the history of the world in which liberty was threatened or stolen. This is the first time, however, that our generation has been tested to this degree.
Our hope lies in the fact that when we are most tested, however, is also when we become most humble, objective, and start making better decisions from a position of strength — one individual at a time. It is when we are in the despair of helplessness and hopelessness when we return to our founding principles and values. Although this may not be the “instant gratification generation” solution we sought, it is the only one we have left.
Finally, our hope must lead to action — a revival of individual responsibility, a renewal of faith in our Creator, a restoration of founding principles, and a disrobing and disabling of the coalition of progressive Trojan horses, including the United Nations, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the SEIU, the progressive media, the Federal Reserve, the World Council of Churches, and the National Education Association. Without complete exposure and eradication of these enemies of American exceptionalism and a return to our founding principles, America’s days are numbered.
Yes, it is that we are being tested beyond our individual capacity to understand, comprehend, and resolve, wherein lies our greatest challenge and hope. It is also in this fact, then, that I believe we are we able to give thanks this Thanksgiving season. Not, as submissive collectivists, rather, as thankful, humble, and confident patriots.
