Are We Serfs?

Dianne Feinstein, pursuant to her communist ideas, has proposed legislation to ban “assault weapons”.
The list of guns that you and I would not be allowed to own, if this legislation is passed, is lengthy.
It would immediately make many of us criminals. Though many of our legislators have publicly stated that the chances of this passing are slim, what happens if it does pass? How will the government enforce it? Will government agents start knocking on doors and confiscating our guns by force?

You may laugh at the thought of it but watch the videos of the gun grab that happened in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. If you don’t think it can happen in America, think again.

As if that is not enough, Senator Feinstein added more fuel to the fire. She has written exemptions into the legislation that would make it okay for those who protect – wait for it – LEGISLATORS, to carry these same outlawed weapons. If you are a member of her security team you will be allowed to own weapons she does NOT want regular Americans to own. She is to be protected, you are to be left in the cold.

Before America, before people had the land of milk and honey to escape to, there were two classes of people. The rich and the serfs. The rich owned everything, including the poor slobs who worked their land, and the serfs had no hope of climbing out of their poverty. They lived and died according to the whims of the elite. That changed in America. We created the middle class. We provided an environment where all men were equal. We eliminated serfdom. Dianne Feinstein would bring it back.

How dare this hideous woman, or any progressive, think they can pass laws that hurt those of us who are the foundation of America. How dare they place themselves above the rest of us. It has become clear to me that those who rise to position in government are convinced they are smarter than the rest of us and that we need them to nanny us for our own protection. How many of you believe you are too stupid to make your own decisions? How many of you would have the hubris to impose your will or ideals on others? How many of you will sit quietly by while these elitists strip away our rights and return us to serfdom?

I hope you’re good and angry. I know I am. I will not be a serf, subject to the whims of would be elites. If this gun grabbing legislation passes I will become a criminal in the eyes of the law. But legislators are just people too, not infallible, and not all laws are just. I am not a serf, and I will fight to my last breath to keep it that way.

Soon she found employment with Cor Strategies, a Chicago based company that manages communications, operations, and technology for political campaigns. Cor Strategies allowed her to fully utilize her organizational talents to help good candidates get elected to office and fully supported her other endeavors to grow, learn, and fight the good fight to protect and defend the Constitution.

Becky also became a precinct committeewoman, a Lincoln Series Fellow, an NRA member, and a staunch supporter of her second amendment rights. To that end she helped form the Illinois Gun Owners PACand worked to support liberty minded second amendment advocates. The PAC's inaugural event, Ladies, Locked 'n Loaded, was hugely successful and included firearms training for women by Jan Morgan, nationally recognized second amendment advocate and NRA certified instructor.

Becky currently makes her home in Illinois, where she continues to fight for the cause of reasonable conceal carry legislation in the only state not to recognize this constitutional right. She works to hone her shooting skills and to fight for true liberty. Becky enjoys getting together with a group of friends, who affectionately call themselves the New Inklings, to break bread and participate in stimulating conversation. Her first grandchild was born in February of 2013. Her four grown children are a source of pride and joy and Becky spends as much time with them as she can.

Before i retired, I worked in the defense industry. It was painful to watch when our ELECTED reps (i.e., John Murtha and Tim Ryan) would appear at our door. Their condescending attitude was disgusting. Yes, in their minds, we ARE serfs!

  I am also a Veteran and military retired. Let them pass all the bills they want we just don’t have to abid by them. Our Second Amendment gives us the right to keep and bear arms and it does not specify what arms. They can not take those rights regardless of what they say. Any laws passed in violation of our rights is unconstitutional Scum bags one and all….

    The problem is that Obama uses the tactic of ” I know it is unconstitutional, if you don’t like it, sue me.” It takes years to get that far and during that period, they are taking guns, never to be seen again. I am of the mind to hide them and deny I own them. But I don’t know where to hide them so no one gets them or they fall into the hands of a child and an accident occurs. By denying I have them is against the law. I am more than happy to go to jail instead of disarming. It is kind of a catch 22. I see my wife’s point that Washington does not hear us unless it is election season, I still vote and keep an eye on it, but I must admit my resolve is weakening. They simply do not fear the People anymore, they are only interested in squeezing money out of the system. And to hell with the population. They would not pay attention unless 10 million Americans showed up on Capitol Hill and protested and even then they would just call out the Capitol Police and National Guard. And collectively hide under their desks, of course.

    They may pass these laws banning all gun ownership but they must remember that this is a Constitutional Republic. That means we are protected by the Constitution and it is our law. It comes first. If a law is enacted that does not follow the Constitution, it is our right to ignore that law. A law abolishing guns is not Legal because it does violate the 2nd Amendment. If someone comes knocking on our doors to confiscate our guns, we have a LEGAL obligation to resist with force if necessary. I for one truly believe our National Guard, our law enforcement people, and our military will not enforce this law because they truly 1) do not believe it legal and 2) would not open fire on Americans. If I am wrong on this, there will be a war that will fall onto Frankenstein’s shoulders.

  Ayers, Dohrn, Rudd and others spent their “Death to America” days in several communist countries learning how to overthrow governments from within…They were not only in Cuba and the USSR, they also traveled to China and other South American countries. Make no mistake, we are under attack from within and it’s been a decades long plan.   This is the same way they would take all of our guns. After they do this you would not be able to buy another gun legally because you would be blocked out in the background data base. Over time they would have most of the illegal firearms off of the streets and the’re mission would be complete for a gun free society. We can’t let it get that far. The background data base will be used for other reasons than what we were told. They would know of every type of weapon you own if registered and this would be the first people they would have the’re sites on. We all need some guns that are not registered and stored in a different place.

They come to Washington after the Appropriations for the year is set so they can start wining and dining the officials and walk out of it with billions of dollars, those are taxpayer dollars. Washington is booming, but unlike other boomtowns in American history, like The California Goldrush, the Amarillo Cattle Boom, or even the Detroit Auto Boom here in Michigan, where we actually produced something for the nation, DC’s boom is in the form of influence peddling and maintaining the Political class, they don’t care whether the Republicans or Democrats are in charge, so long as the green keeps coming. It is likened to Professional wrestling, two sides predetermine who is going to come out on top, but they have to appear to be butting heads for the benefit of their constituency. I was watching it on Hannity, he had a special called” Boom town”. I highly suggest you all look it up and watch it on his site. He is on Fox News.

While the rest of the nation is mostly unemployed or underemployed with mortgages that are underwater, DC is building museums, enjoying the finest wines, eating gourmet foods, and raking in the dough in record numbers. How about Sharpton making the statement that Americans can not have freedoms without government regulations.   We don’t disagree at all. When our elected officials pass laws that go against the constitution, and I say that I will be a lawbreaker when that law passes, it is really a facetious comment. I also believe they have no right to pass these laws and I agree that we need to stand against them. I’m sorry you did not get that from the article, or from my obvious opinion of these communists.

The real tragedy here is that fewer than 5 million belong to the NRA> The anti-gun people are very well organized and smell a good opportunity to overturn the 2nd amendment as they have wished to do for years. The pro-gun folks have been sleeping and are not organized. We may lose our guns and the right to self defense. If the pro gun side loses it will be because they were not organized. It may be too late. “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty” rememberr the objective is “gun registrtion” and confiscation. Don’t be fooled if they fail to ban “assault weapons” in return fot the national data base.

I have no question that it could pass just like the Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act has several times already by the people that were voted into office by us. Do they represent us??? When they come home for a break are they going to be permitted to return to a position that is in opposition to our will? I will not be a slave to anyone or entity that is supposed to serve us. During elections they tell us what we want to hear and that depends on who they are standing in front of at the time. Then they do exactly what they want after elections. It passes the notice of the majority of Americans. I am ashamed to say it but my wife is one of them. She feels that there is no point in voting because it doesn’t matter, so she doesn’t. Her mother is an Obamaite, he could kick her in the face and she would thank him for it.
