The sign shows 3 ways to irritate liberals… although, I must admit, the mere existence of conservatives in America is irritating to liberals and vice versa.
Most of the time, you just have to laugh about it and move on. The fact is, there are extreme and dangerous people on both sides of the political spectrum.
We have allowed those people to polarize the two sides to the extent that it has created the ultimate divide in America.

As Dr. Benjamin Carson says, “the Bald Eagle can soar because it has a LEFT WING AND A RIGHT WING.”
We can no longer continue this tug of war over direction, each wing determined to pull its own way. If both sides refuse to come to the table and work to find solutions to our problems, we will be grounded forever as a nation. We all lose.

We should all agree that the Constitution and Bill of Rights are the foundation upon which this great nation was built. No compromise there. Those who disagree with that should be considered ‘enemies within’ … those are the people both sides should come together and stand against.

All legislation should pass Constitutional muster before being allowed on the floor for a vote.
It is a place to start… we should be able to work through the rest.
America is the greatest nation on earth but we have lost focus, and lost our way.
Together, we are invincible… Divided, we fall. © 2013 JAN MORGAN

  • Funny, i voted for him and i bought lots of guns in his first term, read the Constitution and know that hes working within the guidelines pretty much (aside from some of the armed conflicts like drones and stuff) and made my own media company. We’re liking the change!

    • Khary, the Constitution of the United States of America IS NOT A SET OF GUIDELINES… If that’s your POV, then THAT is why you believe s/he/it (Obama?) is operating within the “guidlines”.

    • Brandon

So what you are saying is that other than the unconstitutional things he is doing, he is working with in the guidelines of the constitution. Thats good to know.

    • I guess treason and failure to uphold the law fits under “and stuff” ?

    • Larry

Some are not wrapped very tight either.

  • Are we on the Right, or are we Right were we should be – standing on the Constitutional “line in the sand”?

  • Slappyxxx

    Khary….you’re an idiot

  • Jan Morgan: “All legislation should pass Constitutional muster before being allowed on the floor for a vote.”

Isaiah 33:22 and James 4:12 declare that Yahweh (God of the Bible) is the exclusive legislator. Consequently, any law not in harmony with His represents lawlessness and immorality. Thus, it should be mandatory that all law not amicable with Yahweh’s perfect law (including Constitutional law) be rejected and repealed.

Anarchy is one person being stupid and dangerous. Tyranny is a bunch of people helping one person be stupid and dangerous. Let’s face facts- Tyranny is more dangerous than anarchy.

    • I beg to respectfully disagree. Anarchy, by definition is the absence of laws or authority. It means in the whole of whatever size social group that your discussing. Whenever you have such a situation, someone, or a group of someones, will usually take the lead or actual control, usually because they are bigger, stronger, or armed, or better armed, or both. Or due to a greater number of likeminded associates, et., al.
This is why democracy (mob rule) most always devolves into anarchy , which then devolves into Tyranny, or rule by the most powerful, to the detriment of others. It’s a vicious circle. One which I think that those with all of the money fully understand.
There seems to be about a century long effort, on the part of the wealthiest people in the World, to not only accumulate riches, but to achieve control of the masses. It has involved Marxism, Communism & Socialism, of one form or another. With some of the wealthiest Americans & our institutions actually Funding the movement , going back to the Bolschivec(sp?) Revolution in Russia.
This wealthy cabal is , yet again, attempting another coup, or whatever you want to call it. Thing time, however, it’s taking place here, in the USA.
They’ve got about 80 members of the House & untold members of the Senate, as well as the Presidency and too many Supreme Court Justices, either in line or on the hook, supporting what’s coming down. They’ve got our formerly Free Press, spouting their propaganda now too.
You’d have to be pretty dense to believe that, with the USA being this far in dept, that things can continue on functioning, the same in the future. Some things are going to have to change…
Let’s just pray that we can come through this with our freedoms intact.
There’s about half of the nation wants sombody else to take care of them & the other half doesnt want to.
That sounds like a feud brewing….

There is no “us” in America anymore. When traditional American values and principles are considered extremist by half the country and the current resident of the White House, there’s not much to be hopeful about. There is no American team anymore but two sides with nothing in common. I don’t think there will be any coming together.

    • Whackajig

Do you question what has happened to our American values? Many of our traditional values were learned in the house of God, we do not go there anymore, and He is not permitted in the schools. Additionally, Mom used to stay at home and teach the kids good moral and ethical values. Now a big screen TV and a new BMW have replaced Mom’s desire to grant her kids a good frame of reference. Pity.

Jan, as much as I like, usually, what you say & write, I must disagree with you here.As we has seen these last 20 years, especially, the left moves even their “moderates” towards extra-Constitutional stuff, keeping them toeing the line of progressivism. Of course, they do this through controlling the money strings & power within the realm of Democrats. While Republicans/Conservatives, once you get to the right of the squishes, RINOS that supposedly are “moderate”, but don’t uphold much of the Republican Platform, are by their very nature, more independent & not part of the “groupies” like the Dems tend to want (Big Government, all the bureaucracy, etc.).
The Dems are moving faster to the left, faster away from the “main” idea of “moderates” or of “compromise” – farther away from the Constitution & the Rule of Law – into their own little world of “subjective reality”. We’ve been through Clinton & Gore & now we have been introduced to the “reality” of Obama & Biden. Situational Ethics (subjective reality’s brother) brings us the likes of Jesse Jackson, Harry Bellifonte, Jamie Foxx & other astute products of our Modern American Public Education & Welfare State of Mind.

Yes. I’ve always believed it takes both sides, at least two sides, to resolve something. At thanksgiving I was sharing with family and friends–that a bird cannot fly with just one wing. Then at the end I noticed on the wall where the dinner was held–an abstract painting. It looked like a bird flying, with two wings.

    • Whackajig

Hey Doc………. if a bird has one wing which wishes to fly North and another wing which wishes to fly South, all that will happen is a bird flying in circles.

  • We should all agree that the Constitution and Bill of Rights are the
foundation upon which this great nation was built. No compromise there.
Those who disagree with that should be considered ‘enemies within’ …

This is the problem. Everything the left proposes is against the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and when the right doesn’t go for it they just point their crooked fingers and scream “See this is why we can’t get anything done, those evil Republicans just won’t compromise with us.” Meanwhile, every common sense solution the Republicans propose (and I’m not saying everything the Republicans propose makes sense) never sees the light of day, because it’s killed in committee by “Dingy” Harry Reid. And the President winks and nods his approval and shoots off his arrogant mouth about how he refuses to compromise on this issue or that. The “enemies within” are in control of the executive branch, half of Congress and possibly the Supreme Court. It’s too late for compromise. The only way to get our Country back is to destroy the monstrosity that the Democrat party has become. By ballot or bullet! This is our only hope.

    • Whackajig

I wonder if congress will approve an amnesty bill which will expand the democratic voters by about 11 million people?

  • Erick Amthor

Americans (slight majority) have abandoned the God of the Bible that the majority of the founders followed. No wonder the God of the Bible is abandoning America.
” Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” John Adams
    See you in Albany.

    • To be fair, the founding fathers were Deists and not really Christians. I fully support your right to practice your religion however you want, but please do not force your views onto me.

      • Whackajig

America has always been a Christian nation. If this offends you, tough chit, go to cuba, N. Korea or somewhere you views are welcome.

  • marineh2ominer

The left and right wing would probably much more acceptable if they were America loving patriots on both sides , unfortunately , those on the left wing are America hating socialists and communists that want to destroy our constitutional republic and replace it with the everfailing socialist and communist nations . Just look at what they are currently doing to our liberties if you need any proof .

  • Love ya, jan, but this is a bit naive. The left wing refuses to consider constitutionality, which makes this whole idea irrelevant. Their aim is nothing less than power to the ruling elite (socialist/fascist/progressive). Now the right wing is divided between traditional RINOs, or socialist lites who give lip service to constitutionality but abandon it for political expediency; and conservatives who believe the only way to preserve a limited government with maximum freedom to the citizens is thru the letter of the Constitution. Just as there is no common ground with a crazed murderer who wants to off your entire family (negotiate to spare who?), there is none between the socialists and the conservatives. After 100 years of socialist abuse, conservatives deserve the next 100 years to prove that they are the true guardians of freedom.

  • Lets just make sure that we get the English not the Shria version of the Document.

  • Rattlerjake

His analogy is so flawed. America is more like a helicopter, it does NOT need a left wing to fly. Get rid of socialism and this country will soar.

    • Whackajig

Socialism and communism cannot survive without a population, most of whom want to suck the government teat and not be productive. In our nation we now have more takers than we have makers. How do we change that? If we do not find a way to return to a capitalistic society, we are doomed to socialism/communism.

      • Rattlerjake

That’s why we NEED a second revolution in this country. It’s time to eradicate the rats in the barn.
