How Americans May Stop Violent Black Reaction if Zimmerman Found “Not Guilty”

About the author: Barry jokingly refers to himself as being a minority, being that he's a Brooklyn-born, Jewish, conservative Republican, Marine Corps veteran. He is also a very staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment who believes that we cannot afford to give a single inch to the anti-gun crowd, because whatever we ... [read 's FULL BIO]

After watching this trial, especially renowned forensic pathology expert Vincent Di Maio’s testimony, I believe that George Zimmerman will be found not guilty on all possible charges. As stated in the Miami Herald, Di Maio testified that Trayvon Martin was on top of Zimmerman when Zimmerman shot him. He also testified that judging by the injuries on the back of Zimmerman’s head, he would have been at risk of severe injury had the beating continued.

The question now is, what will the response be if / when Zimmerman is deemed not guilty? Many say that the black community, fueled by the rants by of Al Sharpton, Spike Lee, the Black Panther Party and others will rise up in violent protest, as in 1992 Rodney King but on a nationwide level. Sanford, Florida law enforcement is indeed preparing for riots.

My opinion is that while there might be some problems and “calls to kill Whitey”, it will be limited more to the local level than nationwide as people fear. It’ll be more verbal than physical. Why do I feel this way? Because of the increase in concealed carry. These 2 charts were freeze framed from this Wikipedia page showing the progression of concealed carry in the US since 1986 –

As you can see, in Rodney King’s 1992, only 17 states had unrestricted or “Shall issue” CCH laws. I don’t include “May issue”, because in those states you have to justify WHY you need to carry concealed.

Screen shot 2013-07-10 at 11.50.47 AM

But in 2013, we have 42, with no more “No issue” states (now that Illinois is finally waking up) .

Criminals go for easy targets. Well, there aren’t as many out there as there used to be. It’s no secret in this country that especially in the last 5 1/2 years, gun ownership and the number of law abiding citizens carrying concealed weapons have “shot through the ceiling”. This means that more than ever, individual Americans are more able to protect themselves and their loved ones from marauding, violent criminals. The message to the thugs is simple – scream “injustice” all you want, but if you get violent, you may be stopped – permanently.

Nice argument, but if were a valid hypothesis, knock-out and flash mobs wouldn’t exist, right?

Since the risk is heightened, I will be taking appropriate steps to mitigate the risk of injury to my family.

    • http://janmorganmedia.com/ Jan Morgan

It is always good to be prepared for random crime…. at all times. I am ALWAYS carrying at least TWO guns on my at all times… usually a .40 Glock subcompact and a .380

      • Julie Horsford Butler

I love my .380! Fits nicely in my purse!

        • Douglas Moore

I wouldn’t advise keeping it in your purse. Is there a way to keep it on your person comfortably? That’s the best. If someone snatches your purse, they’ve got your gun too.

          • FedupandReadytofight

I know about open carry and concealed carry…
Lets invent a new one – “in hand carry”

          • FedupandReadytofight

Actually, everyone needs to realize that there are several lead-in factors that raise your level of concern and your level of preparation.
At first you are relaxed and don’t feel anything ammis.
Next you feel something ammis, so you place your hand on or near your personal protection
Lastly, harm is deemed to be imminent, so you pull out the ol firearm and prepare to use it… or you do use it.
Just remember, you have to stay aware of your surroundings at all times or you might miss an important factor that could save your life.

          • Douglas Moore

Yes, always be aware of your surroundings and be prepared. Just don’t let it consume you and get you down. Enjoy your day that the Lord has made.

          • Mavrick55

For the ladies the flashbang holster is awesome. Makes a groper run for his life after he figures out what he just grabbed!

          • Douglas Moore

Don’t know if I’d let him/her get that far. If they’re close enough to grab, they can still get the gun. Just shoot ‘em.

          • 2nd Amendment Supporter

I was gonna suggest the Flashbang too!!! I almost wish I had to wear a bra…it’s a great holster!!!

I don’t like the shoulder holsters…You almost point the gun at yourself before you present it in a defensive stance…I find an IWB by my kidney to be best for me…Because I cant wear a Flashbang!!! lol

          • Barry Kaplan

You try to grab Jan’s purse, she’s gonna kick your ass…

          • Douglas Moore

True. If I was her husband I wouldn’t try to grab her purse though. I’d just grab Jan! ;) She’s almost as pretty as my wife. And that’s pretty!

          • Julie Horsford Butler

I was being facetious to make a point. It wouldn’t be “concealed” if I told everyone where it is, now would it?

          • Douglas Moore

I guess not Julie! ;) Gotcha!

      • Cadre

I like that Jan. I carry a glock 33 and glock 31 that I carry. I have a glock 17 stashed in my office desk drawer as well. Better to be over prepared than under prepared.

      • Barry

Better to be over prepared for what ends up being no reason than under prepared when you need it.

      • FBAshplant

Good plan. I have thought about a BUG but right now I just carry a Glock27 with an extra mag. Like you, I think the .40 Glock is the ideal carry weapon and I practice with it a lot.

      • Christine Guinn

45 ACP all th way! I have two, a 5″ Dan Wesson and a 3″ Kimber.

      • Rattlerjake

I’ll be carrying weapons in my pickup’s gun rack again, Varmint hunting season is about to start!

    • Pete Clark

Wrong..A “flash mob” is just that. A flash and gone before a reaction can be initiated. Somebody with a gun certainly is not going to shoot a guy running away with a stolen laptop or whatever. A riot is sustained and dangerous attack that would warrant a violent response..Apples and oranges..

    • Damaso

Neatly laid out and ready to rock and roll!

    • Hoodoo H

      Well put..

  • politiwatch

mess with me and you get the instant death penalty.

    • http://janmorganmedia.com/ Jan Morgan

Somehow… I don’t think anyone will attempt to mess with you.. :)

      • politiwatch

a girl has to handle her business =)

      • catman

        Amen Jan!

      • Ronald R. Johnson

George left home thinking no one would mess with him too!!

        • http://rau.3littlefoxes.com/ LindaF

And, I’d bet that Trayvon wishes he hadn’t done so now!

          • Honorary

Well! his parents must be happy deep down, because of his death, the housing community had paid them over $4.5 million. If he did not dead and live for another 100 years, he will never ever earn that amount of money to his parents anyway.

          • mcw

If he gets found not guilty he needs to sue the Martin family! They’re not supposed to profit from acts from a criminal! That would be justice!

          • Janthony132

NO! File charges against the Obama administration and more specifically the DOJ, Holder for inciting this case as a racial issue – and the taxpayer footing the bill for a trial that should never have been conducted in the first place.

          • GGC

George should have stayed his ass in his car Janthony..

          • Dr. Obvious

Punk ass kids shouldn’t rob houses, but there you go.

          • Truth

Kids, nor adults should rob houses. You are very wise. However, you’re obviously not aware that Martin was walking home after getting some snacks, and, in fact, not robbing any houses or persons. Perhaps walking home after getting snacks without robbing is difficult to imagine a teen doing because you never did anything similar in your life. Oh, wait… we probably all have walked to the store to get a soda or gatorade and chips as a kid and cut home through another neighborhood. I know I have.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

He should have found your worthless A*S there and U could be right beside Trayvon! He [ George did just what a good watch capitian should do and U criminal types don’t like it since it cuts down the crimes U can commit!

          • Truth

Clearly you aren’t rational enough to even respond to. It’s disgusting that you suggest somebody be shot and dead, but even more so that you suggest that is the best outcome possible rather than having Zimmerman stay in his car and wait for police. Do you think Zimmerman wants to be in his position now? Doubt it.

          • Chained

Martin was suspicious looking and not recognized. Racial profiling is not illegal either and blacks are responsible for a majority of crime in the country. I would have followed the punk too if he were in my neighborhood. Any good person that cares about his neighbors and neighborhood would have or should have done the same as Zimmerman did. Martin was a punk pure and simple and should have kept walking home but he wanted to be a tough punk and now he’s a dead punk. It never should have made it to trial in the first place. The police cleared Zim prior but it got political because the criminals Oblabla, Holder, Jackass and Shittard pressured the DA to bring charges. How many black punks in drug gangs get killed each day by gunshots from their own kind or how many Whites or Asians get raped, beaten, robbed and killed by blacks that never get reported or go to trial? This double standard BS must cease but unfortunately as long as that dolt
in the WH and his criminal regime are in power things will remain as
they are. What makes this case so special? There is more to meet the eye here and I think it has something to do with the stand your ground law rather than a case of murder or self defense. The libtards see this as an opportunity to derail that law.

          • granny_forUSA

Martin should have spoke up loud & clear….”I am here visiting relatives”. Of course that’s too much to ask from a ni**er.

          • Truth

Was he there visiting relatives? I don’t think so. Are you required to announce who you are and what you’re doing when you walk in public places? I don’t think so. Please use your logic instead of your racism.

          • Whackajig

trayvon was supposed to be visiting his father, or the man who purported to be his father. As is fact with the vast majority of blacks the biological father is rarely known.

          • Michigan_REB

No the punk shouldn’t have been caught stealing and smoking dope and in school and none of this would have happened. Or better yet the Miami police had jaild him for the weed and posessionof burglary tools and none of this would have happened. Or failing all of thos3e had Martin had kept his hands to himself none of this woyuld have happened. He learned an imoortant lessen the hard way when you don'[t know who is armed always be polite.

          • Truth

            I agree.

          • centermass1

Why? One less punk-ass criminal Florida has to deal with.

          • SickAndTired

Really? And so now, all us whities, if we see a suspicious looking BLACK person, we have to sit our asses in our cars? Allow you guys to go where you like, do what you please, and we just sit and watch, huh? So, it’s legal to get out and walk around – for fresh air, to stretch our legs, to check and see where we are – or to follow a suspicious looking character – UNLESS… there’s a black person around. Is that about right? Then we have to sit our asses inside our cars until YOU MF’s have finished doing whatever it is you doing? We have to give you guys FREE REIGN, to break in houses, peep in windows, rape our women… and we just have to sit our asses in our cars and let it happen, huh? And I suppose we’re also supposed to just lay there and get our asses kicked IF the person doing the kicking is BLACK? Trust them to stop banging our heads into the cement JUST before we black out? And not shank us while we’re layin’ there helpless? That about right?

Uh… no. GZ had the freedom to get out of his care ANY. TIME. HE. PLEASED! And he or any of the rest of us have the freedom to walk ANY. WHERE. WE. PLEASE! That includes following someone, ESPECIALLY if it looks like they may be up to no good. And Treyvon, admittedly, had the right to walk around high on pot all he pleased, too. And you do too, friend. No problem. But… anyone bangs MY head into the cement… well, they better plan on mamma havin’ one less set of food stamps next month…

Get your head outta your ahole, GGC. No laws were broken until TM took a swing. Had he taken HIS ass on back home where it belonged, he’d be eatin’ Skittles and smokin’ weed, cool as you please – instead of layin’ there pumped full of preservatives, stiff as a damn LOG. Let that be a lesson, home slice.

          • Whackajig

Love your description of how trayvon looks now. If ovomit had a son, I am sure he would look the same, deader than a doornail.

          • Whackajig

If Z had stayed in his car, one more worthless black POS would still be on the streets.

          • grover

janthony132 i agree with you, blamer obummer and his secret elite security team of the black panthers….he and revsaarpton and ol jesse, have turned this whole country into one big ball of racist shit, they would riot if we wry to impeach him, because they would not get free cheese and obummer phones,if he would of been white his ass would of been impeached by now???

          • Ronald R. Johnson

GGc you have the brains of a dead goat, no insult intended to the Goat! When do you plan to start school, U idiot! There like their son ARE crimnials. I would not have given them a dime for their worthless little criminal. Thanks George for stopping that criminal!

          • Truth

R R J– This post didn’t make sense. Please correct grammar. You wouldn’t have given them a dime because a) you have no knowledge of the law and b) you probably have hardly enough dimes for yourself.

          • granny_forUSA

Wow your IQ is certainly below Zero.

          • Truth

Judging by the spelling and grammar by most of these angry posters, I would say sometime before they covered the big words!

          • http://facebook.com/ sick2deathofthiscrap

cruel statement! But I didn’t know that either.

          • Ken

You forgot to mention that they get 40% of all the money made on products with his picture on them. They also had someone buy them 3 million hoodies with his picture on them, supposedly “donated”, that they get the same cut of.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

            The parents suck!

          • Chained

Yep it all starts with them.

          • ButterKing

You are the epitome of scum. You must not have any kids or heart for that matter because no sum replaces a child. You will likely perish in a lonely miserable passing. I wish I could find you carrying some candy and a drink *wink, wink*

          • Ronald R. Johnson

Bring it on Criminal and we will plant u beside Trayvon, no one should have or raise any criminal kids like Trayvon, but then again that is probably how he learned to be a criminal ! That criminal kid was nothing but a money maker for them, probably like any u might have! No WINK< WINK here Scum Bum!

          • granny_forUSA

Mr Butterking scum……you don’t try to make your kid out as an angel when he is a dope seller, gang member, and arrested a few times. Its love and recognizing the flaws in your children and trying to make them a better person…. Trayvon failed & so did his parents..

          • Truth

Granny, you seem to imply that if a person has committed a crime they are to be excluded from the law and shot on site. Have you or any of your family members committed a crime in their past? Maybe your brother or a son had some trouble a few years ago, a few B&Es, maybe a DUI when he had trouble with his marriage. Got caught smoking pot? How is this different from Martin? How old was Martin? Fairly young. Did he still have time to turn his life around? Sad for the Martin and Zimmerman families.

          • Whackajig

Every city in America has a black ghetto. These ghettos are populated by lazy welfare rat parasites who rob and steal to supplement their unearned government income. Every one of those POS blacks COULD have turned their life around but instead chose the life of crime and government dependency instead. Those blacks had the opportunity to be decent people but chose an animal life instead.

          • GGC

Honorary and Linda you are the worse type of White Trash you make me ASHAMED TO BE A WHITE MAN.

If You are white then U are a perfect example of Real low Life WHITE CRACKER and no decent white people would have you and from the sound of U ,U for sure had to grow up in the HOOD and you almost sound like one of your hero’s Michell Obama! Your mother should have believed in Abortion at least once!

You are the ni**er trash. AND it does not matter what your skin color is….you are ashamed of being an uneducated person that is lacking in judgment of character & making illiterate remarks. Just like BOZO you have no class, & you make stupid statements..

          • Ronald R. Johnson

The parents should have paid them and George for coming there from South Florida after he had committed so many crimes there!
And the parents should be jailed too!

          • Truth

What kind of person suggests his parents are happy deep down that their son was killed? Are you suggesting if your child was killed and you received money you’d be happy with your child’s death? Messed up.

          • Joe

Actually Zimmerman started it. He was told not to engage Martin & he did anyway!

          • David Gibson

no he was not – Joe – you are another clear example of a low-information person not knowing the facts of the case and only believing what they want to hear.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

Joe has the brains of a dead goat or maybe a stump!

          • Donald Crowder

Wake up Joe! GZ did NOT ‘engage’ TM… it was the other way around. First, it was a 9-1-1 operator who told GZ that they “did not need him to do that” in response to his following TM. But since when is getting out of a vehicle and following somebody a crime? Especially in light of GZ’s commitment as a community watch person? Over-zealous.. sure. A display of poor judgment… well, perhaps. But a crime? No.

In fact, Joe, after being deterred from following, GZ was returning to his vehicle AS REQUESTED when TM (who had circled back) engaged him… physically! Up until that point, it was all an issue of foolish or mistaken actions. But once TM began slamming GZ’s head against the pavement in a ‘pound-and-ground’ manner, then… and only then… did it become a matter of life and death! A matter that GZ had no choice but to respond to lethally.

Tell me this, Joe. Since you want to ascribe the blame to GZ for acting… how might you say it? Wrongly? Why then do you not apply the same standard to TM’s actions? What if he had merely explained his presence to GZ? I suspect that GZ would have simply told him that he needed to get on home instead of lurking about the neighborhood suspiciously. What if TM had simply said “OK” and done just that very thing?
Joe, it’s a hard thing to humble oneself and act like an adult. But as we can see in hind-sight, it’s a small thing compared to what can occur.

          • lu

Really? Shooting an unarmed teenager isn’t wrong? Give me a break! Remember what you just said when you’re being followed by a wanna be cop with a gun. What a bunch of assholes.

          • Alohajonny

Don’t have to worry, I always carry and I am white, now go back to bed son….

          • Dr. Obvious

first of all, I don’t break into houses. Secondly I have never struck anyone. And thirdly, who cares if someone is following me?

          • Ronald R. Johnson

lu, U seem to have the brains of a dead Goat, no insult intended for the Goat! U are the one who is probably the ASS HOLE and known well by everyone where u live, there in the HOOD!!

          • Michigan_REB

He had and carred a legal gun as gaunteed by the U.S. consitution. Unarmed does not mean not a threat. Especially when he is younger taller heavier and in better shape. As for being a teenager He was old enough to join the military go to war fight and kill the enemy. His mistake was he picked a fight with someone tried to hurt possible kll them and they were armed and when he threatened to severly injure or GZ he left him the option of shooting TM or possibly being killed himself. It is smple there is nothing GZ couod have d=sad to justify being assaulted. SOTM had kept his hands to himself and just went home He would still be alive.

          • Chained

You’re a special kind of stupid aren’t you. Just because someone isn’t armed with a weapon doesn’t make them not dangerous. Shooting someone in self defense is justifiable homicide and it doesn’t matter if Martin was 17. He was big enough to defend himself or hurt someone else. I suggest you quit being played by lamestream media too. Zimmerman was not trying to be a cop, he was just an armed citizen concerned about his neighborhood since there had been some recent robberies. There are millions of armed citizens btw and w/o us crime would be at an all time high. An armed society is a polite society. Do us all a favor pull your libtard head out of your ass and get educated.

          • lu

By the way, no one has to explain anything to another civilian. Had GZ waited for the cops to come do THEIR job, he wouldn’t have shot an unarmed teenager.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

lu, U must be brain dead too! If he had waited for the cops Trayvon would probably have committed another crime and run to daddy’s house! If the criminal Trayvon had stayed in south Florida and not have committed so many crimes that his worthless mother wouldn’t have had to send him to daddy to try to control, which he couldn’t do either and the little criminal wouldn’t be dead as he should be! M aybe we will one day get to read about another criminal like Trayvon getting you and showing you just what a criminal Trayvon was!

          • Michigan_REB

He did his job observe and report. he waqws doing so from a distance he had lost sight of TM who had circled back and confronted GZ. when you don’t know who may be armed always be polite and don’t assault people. There is nothing GZ could say to justify assaulting him. And one thing both medical examiners agreed on was TM had no injuries but bruised knuckles snd the gun shot wound. So if TM had kept his hands to hmself he would still be alive.

          • Joe

            My point exactly lu

          • doug43

I am not sure you understand that a person doesn’t need a GUN to kill! Martin could have just as easily killed Zimm without a Gun, but hey we’ll leave that for those that call for Zimm’s hanging….Kind of reminds me of the days the KKK would stand outside a court room and call for justice and demand a fair trial “one way or the other”!

Same problem different color! What is sad is Dr. King didn’t want any of this BS Al Sharp-ass and Jesse-Jackass are pushing…that is why King kept them at arms lenght! The KKK in black skin or some call the New Black Panthers…will soon find the same fate as the KKK…just Bullies nothing more! Even the KKK didn’t call for “Them Black Babies Be Killed”…but the New Black Panthers had no problem calling for “White Babies Be Killed”!

Sad that Dr. king died before he was able to achieve his true goals…and make the USA a truly equal nation…not one side or the other!

          • Whackajig

What was MLK’s true goal? Maybe to have sex with every white prostitute in America? Since MLK only chose white whores, does that make him a racist?

          • Chained

You know cops—when seconds count they are minutes away. Zimmerman was trying to help the police so he decided to keep an eye on an unfamiliar in the neighborhood suspicious looking individual aka Martin until they could arrive. Martin should have just kept walking but he decided, with a punk ass attitude, he should confront and attack his follower. Not a very bright move but most punks lack grey matter to begin with.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

Thank goodness another smart person who understands. To bad those State attorney clowns and that Idiot Judge didn’t!

          • Joe

I never said following someone is a crime but what if GZ simply stayed in his vehicle? We can sit here & what if all day long.

          • http://facebook.com/ sick2deathofthiscrap

you know they keep saying that but gz was already walking and watching no law broke there he also was the captain of the neighbor watch and there had been plenty of break-in in this neighbor hood so you tell me what’s gz job suppose to be about. There is a safety quote we here alot from safety instructors it goes, see something, say something and do something. GZ did all three.

          • lu

His job was to call the police so they could engage a suspicious character. Not to follow and play like he’s a cop. He was a neighbor hood WATCHmen, not a cop. He should have let the police do their job. Not take it upon himself.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

lu, why don’t U stuff it where the Sun don’t shine and enjoy it some more. Maybe a Tyrayvon type will find u and break in one night and u will be begging to have had a Zimmerman type watching out for U, but not many watch out for any one in the HOOD do they?

          • Michigan_REB

He died his job he observed and reported to the polic3e htne continued to do sountil he no longer saw him. It took the cops how long to arrive? During which he was jumped and assaulted and short of a physical assault none of this give TM the right to lay a hand on anyone.

          • Capitalist at Birth

Where is the evidence that he started it Joe? There is none, making this an assumption on your part. Typical ignorant mindset.

          • lu

exactly! I don’t why these other people want to think Martin initiated this travesty.

          • Michigan_REB

His girlfriend said it for one. The medical evidence for another. GZ could have said anything he wanted there is no words that justify assault. Had TM just kept his hands to himself nothing would have happened to him.

          • Barry Kaplan

Joe, you’re wrong. The EXACT words from the dispatcher were “We don’t need you to do that”, and the dispatcher isn’t even a cop.

          • David Dickey

Actually that is not true. He was told “we don’t need you to follow him.” At that point, based on the 911 call, he lost sight of TM and thus quit following him.

          • reggiec

Yea and our government has informed me I should depend on the police for protection, I should gladly give up a portion of my hard earned income to the do nothing leeches in our society, I should not complain about them tapping my phones or computer, I should accept Obama’s relentless push toward Socialism and I should not be paranoid about government becoming even bigger and more intrusive in my life. In your way of thinking anyone who does not follow what some “authority” tells you to do or not to do is guilty of something.
I say that if you do not follow through on something you think is illegal or might put someone in danger; you are not just a coward but you are irresponsible. No matter if it is a suspicious person and you are in a neighborhood watch or you are a plain citizen and you find out the government is violating your rights and The Constitution.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

            Joe,
NO one had any right to tell him not to do his job, U idiot! If Martin had not committed so many crimes in south Florida that his mother and the courts couldn’t control him his worthless mother would never had sent him to Sanford for his daddy to try to control which he could do either and if martin had not been out prowling around between other peoples apts. and had not been caught by George then he would not have attacked George and got killed for his criminal act! Are u really so stupid you don’t know what a neighborhood watch person is out there for! Since u seem to be reasl stupid it’s to stop criminals like Trayvon from committing more crimes! U too seem to have the brains of dead Goat!

          • Chained

It was “suggested” by dispatch that he not follow and dispatch are not the police so in reality he did not have to abide. Besides the altercation is the crux of the biscuit and that was started by Martin.

          • lu

Zimmerman was the one messing with Trayvon. What about follow and shoot do you not understand?

          • dontgetit

based on the 911 call, he lost sight of TM and thus quit following him.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

            lu,
U are a real stupid PIG, it was Zimmerman’s job to watch out for criminal types breaking into peoples homes and he caught Trayvon doing that and attacked Zimmerman and was sent straight to hell where he and U belong! Now get back to the HOOD with your Hood type thinking and learn to work for a living instead of robbing people, Stupid!

          • Michigan_REB

His job as neighborhood watch is to observe and report which he did from a distance. He lost sight of him when he went between the houses. so he went to check that the houses weren’t being broken into. when a dispatcher who has ZERO authority told GZ we don’t need you to do that. He didn’t even let it be known he had the gun until he felt his life was in danger after being assaulted.

          • Truth

I bet Trayvon wishes Zimmerman never followed him!

          • Chained

Martin is dead I don’t think he can wish anything but I bet Zimmerman wishes he wasn’t attacked by a punk 12 years his junior

          • Whackajig

Sorry, but at this juncture, trayvon’s brain has ceased functioning. I kinda doubt that he hsas any thoughts at all.

        • Joe

BUT he also left home thinking he’s Judge Dredd!

          • Donald Crowder

Joe, that sounds more like your opinion rather than fact.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

Joe, if you were not dumb as stump U would know Zimmerman was doing his job [ catching criminals breaking in peoples homes] and he did that and was attacked by the criminal and was killed while committing his crime! Thank You George!

      • Whackajig

a big mouth rarely scares the bad guy off.

    • Max Kuenkel

Even though your comment is slightly over-the-top, I interpret it, and agree with it, in the sense of: “an armed society is a polite society”. The gun grabbers on the other hand, would take it to mean: “I’m a badass who will go out and shoot people at the slightest provocation”.

      • politiwatch

who asked you, or anyone else, to interpret or misinterpret what i said? no one. there is no hidden meaning in what i said. it isnt open for interpretation. why bother to take it out of context or off topic? the subject here are riots. only your statement was over the top.

        • Max Kuenkel

Okay, so if somebody on the street insults you and pushes you to the ground, are you going to kill him?

          • $19975957

were you born this stupid? or is this a result of our public indoctrination system. wait, dont bother to answer, i dont care and dont want to know. you sound like an NSA shill.

          • Max Kuenkel

There is a great book about the use of deadly force called “In The Gravest Extreme” by Massad Ayoob. Perhaps you have read that book. It teaches how, when and why to use deadly force.

          • OliverBx

When a thug punches you in the face, tells you he’s going to kill you , while smashing your head on the ground AND tries to grab your gun, I say deadly force is quite necessary.

          • Max Kuenkel

            Agreed.

          • Teresa Elrod Goolsby

Gotta defend yourself. No one else will. These stupid riots are way out of hand. I say hurt them. Go ahead and kill them. If not they are out of prison to do it again. I am sick of it. It has been shoved down our throats for years. It’s time for the CHARLES BRONSON method.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

He sure knew how to take care of business!

          • KY Reverend

I’m right there with you. Charles Bronson all the way. I’m locked, loaded, and I WILL fire. Black, stay out of my face and I will let you live to see another day. Don’t and I swear to God I will kill you.

          • foxxybey

I don’t care about color but, will defend my family and self at all times as the police only show up later. When I headed a security company I told my guards if they had to use their weapon to make sure the idiot you shot is dead or you’ll support them the rest of your life because of the lib left.

          • rivahmitch

So you’re literate. The book is still only one person’s opinion based on his reading of current tea leaves divined by various courts and legislatures. The right to self-defense comes from neither of those soiurces. As to your question above: an insult one can ignore. Being shoved to the ground may demand a direct response depending on the individual, the shove and the circumstances. Semper Fi!

          • rs1123

You apparently don’t know Assad Mayoob or one thing about his book. It’s got nothing to do with tea leaves or any of the other silly things you said.

          • linreis

Max, the book teaches how, when and why to use deadly force? I think those questions cannot be answered in a mere book…open your eyes to the threats and horrific violence that are happening every day…you must read some of them, cause you don’t hear of them on the MSM…if you think you are in danger, and you pull a gun, you better be firing nowadays, for the thugs aren’t coming at you one at a time any more, and they don’t give a rats ass about your book or your law…

          • rs1123

You are someone who should read ‘In the Gravest Extreme’. Assad Mayoob knows the subject of self-defense with a weapon better than you do and it would benefit you to understand the subject better.

          • linreis

rs1123 Have we known each other in the past, in a previous life perhaps? What makes you think I do not understand ‘the subject’ well enough? I’m an avid reader, so I may do this one day…but I stand by my comment: there are some things you cannot learn or judge by reading a book…in fact, you must learn judgment and use it wisely…I just want to remind you, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO I AM OR WHAT I MIGHT BENEFIT FROM…you have no idea what my background is with weapons, or the area I live in…these are all things that should be considered when and if you decide to carry a gun…the book may help a person in those areas or it may lead a person in the wrong direction…giving false bravado, or encouraging delays when that could mean the person’s life…there are infinite number of scenarios and each one will be different. In short, this book, its advice or teachings could cost someone their life, or the life of an innocent…thanks for your suggestion.

          • rs1123

Thanks for correcting me on his name, I know it’s unusual and not something so easy to remember. If you haven’t read his book then you have no idea what it’s about. Look. Ayoob helps explain things such as for example, you can’t pick a fight with someone then shoot them in “self defense” when they fight back, common sense things that many people who decide to carry never think about in advance but should know. Okay? No need to get so huffy. I didn’t suggest a book on the subject by Alan Alda.

          • linreis

and what makes you think I am one of those people ?
I did not read his book but did go online and read some of his articles…I have to say he has taken the time to write what I consider ”common sense”… growing up in the right family, or the right locations maybe??? what I’m saying is NOT everyone needs a gun…if their sole experiences include a shoot out at Dave and Busters’ Alien game, they should definitely take a couple of classes with a person who knows guns…and knows teaching…a live person so there is interaction. you can’t teach common sense, it doesn’t come in a book…

          • rs1123

Do me a favor and try, please try to forget that you ever read any of my posts. You are going to object to anything I could say. I am not wasting any more time bickering with you.

          • linreis

you really are an arrogant creep…leave my panties out of this…after all you were the first to presume to tell me what I needed to do…are you always this much of a jerk? I will gladly ignore your sentiments however…

          • Donald Crowder

I’d like to get a copy of that book. Is it a relatively current publishing?

          • rs1123

You can get it from one of the sellers on Amazon for $15-$20. Apparently it’s a hot item these days. I first read it at my local library. Highly recommended, easy to read, and will make sure you have your head on straight if you really want to defend yourself with a gun. It’s a very well known and regarded book.

          • Dan Moore

His name is spelled Massad Ayoob.

          • rs1123

Thanks – I have his book but loaned it out and as usual never got it back, otherwise I’d have been able to check his name. I thought I had it right. Nonetheless it’s a very worthwhile book to read.

          • rs1123

So you’re not being a fool, you’ve read the book. From your comments it wasn’t so easy to tell what your mindset was.

          • Rattlerjake

In a riot they’re all targets. Law abiding citizens will not be rioting, they will be defending themselves and their property, much like the Korean store owners did (with rifles) during the rodney scumbag king riots! Idiots like you have to read into everything, so while you are reading into it the mobs will be attacking you and your family, SEE YA! I, on the other hand, will use this as an opportunity to join forces with other citizens to eliminate the threat by whatever means necessary, and it WON’T be by putting more leeches in jail! Undertakers need work too!

          • Rattlerjake

Read all the books you want, but if you look at this (Ayoob) individuals background where is his actual combat and self defense EXPERIENCE? Anyone can study a subject and become an opinionated expert and write books. His whole career was in civilian law enforcement in New Hampshire and self defense learned from courses he attended and then instructed, this does NOT make you an expert – much like reading medical journals and attending a few human physiology courses doesn’t qualify you to take out someones appendix. As a retired Special Operations soldier, I can tell you first hand that books like this are worthless in a true combat environment (which a riot is), where you must make split second decisions and you are not in mass like cops with riot gear. Keep reading your “Home defense for dummies” books – I promise I won’t volunteer to carry your casket!

          • Grand Vizier

“Ayoob has appeared as an expert witness in several trials. He has served as a part-time police officer in New Hampshire since 1972 and holds the rank of Captain in the Grantham, New Hampshire police department.”

          • bitch-slapper

            wow, what a bitch.

          • 2nd Amendment Supporter

No but he will probably limp into the courtroom and sue you for his injuries!!!

Most likely with the support of the current administration too!!!

            Really???

          • Luger Drmc

            Damn straight!

          • Lorraine Terpening

There will not be any warning when the rioters attack. They will not gently push anyone to the ground. Research what happened in Los Angeles. People were pulled from cars and beaten. Women too. If you were white, you were beaten. If I see any group of people coming at me, I will defend myself.

          • fenix1

            Without Question!

          • 2nd Amendment Supporter

I’m right beside you defending my family too Lorraine!!!

A dead assailant is a STOPPED THREAT in ANY book!!!

          • Palomino

            Get real Max!

          • Ronald R. Johnson

If he is bigger than me and starts to hurt me and I’m carrying I’ll pull it and kill him because if he whips my butt or knocks me to the ground and I can’t get up and he finds my gun he might use it to kill me and I wont let that happen! If u are bigger than I and want to hurt some one for the fun of it or because u are mad at someone else, please pass me by or kiss all the family by when u leave because you will be dead next time they see you! Does that answer your question MAX???

          • 2nd Amendment Supporter

            Right on Ronald!!!!!

          • Jerry Patte

You damn right I am going to kill them, What do you think I am just going to wound him so he can come back and pull more violent acts?

          • fenix1

I agree with Ted Nugent. The majority of those who commit violent crimes are “Repeat Offenders”. I too believe in DEAD Offenders NOT repeat offenders!

          • rs1123

But never, ever tell the police that you wanted to kill him. Always say you had to STOP him from what he was doing or what you were certain he was about to do. You never say you tried to kill. That is never an acceptable intention. STOPPING the perp IS acceptable; if he dies in the process then that’s what happened.

I believe that is from Assad Mayoob’s book, which some who haven’t read (but should) it were making light of.

          • Donald Crowder

Too right! Personally, I’m not going to base my actions on anyone’s opinions – professional or not. BUT! I’m also not going to act randomly without the widest latitude of available information. Reading and knowing what other folks have to say on any matter can only enhance my own knowledge in that matter…

          • rs1123

Exactly. Something as simple as your choice of words after the fact could mean the difference between “self-defense, justifiable homicide, no charges filed” and a murder charge. This is one of the things I learned from the book.

Some posters’ comments tell me that if they had to use their gun in self-defense – even if 100% justified – that they would leave themselves wide open to a murder charge.

          • Donnie Ray Howell

I know that there wont be any rioting or looting around where I live when
Zimmerman gets off but if any of those mo-fo’s tried to hurt me or my
family, I would introduce them to a new phrase ‘justifiable
homicide’ I don’t always pack but when i do they wont see it coming………….

          • rs1123

Of course not. Don’t be an idiot.

          • Stephen Ethridge

in all honesty, yes, if i feel that threatened. Putting your hands on a person means direct bodily harm is coming. I’m sorry, but if you mean to harm me or mine, then you made the choice to end your own life, not me. I dont care what race, religion, or creed you are, i have the right to defend myself and my family. And if violence comes my way, it will be met with force. Too many times people are killed by a random act of violence, how many could have been prevented just by drawing your weapon and telling the thug to smile and wait for the flash?

      • Hoodoo H

        Troll alert

      • ltfbhh

Concealed carry laws, and the courses one is required to take to get licensed, are pretty clear about when you are authorized under the law to use deadly force. It is pretty much a world-wide standard that deadly force is authorized when you fear death or serious bodily harm for yourself or another who is present. Simple assault is not reason enough, but ultimately, should you actually use your weapon, it comes down to convincing a jury that you legitimately feared death or serious bodily harm. If one should find themselves in danger and wonder if they should use their weapon, they may ponder the saying, “better to be judged by twelve, than carried by 6″.

        • Wumingren

I do not want to obtain a concealed-weapon permit because I do not want to provide local law enforcement agencies with my current address while telling them that I own firearms. I simply do not want to be on the short list for gun confiscation that could occur if the country falls under martial law.

I do want to know about all of my rights and responsibilities under the law, and the best way to get this information is to take a concealed-weapons course at a local firing range.

The problem is that here in the Minneapolis area no one is allowed to take the course anonymously, which is understandable if they wish to obtain a permit. Unfortunately, they won’t let me audit the course for the information, even though I’m not seeking a permit. All participants must provide photo identification, and all that information must be provided to the relevant LEO. This would put me on the radar, where I don’t want to be.

I have attempted to locate relevant information by reading Minnesota statutes, but they are written in the typical legalese, which is why one should get proper training from a concealed-weapon course. I am certain that such a course would provide lots of “do’s and don’t’s” and instruction on hypothetical situations, but I just don’t want to get on that short list.

It is my belief that in times of peace, concealed weapons may be needed to ensure survival. It is also my belief that in times of turbulance, weapons will most certainly be required to ensure survival.

Under the former condition, one protects life at the risk of having their firearms taken from them in the event that the condition shifts to the latter.

Under the latter contition, when risks to life are everywhere, I will have my concealed weapons well concealed, because at that time, the break down in law and order will make compliance with concealed carry laws irrelevant — and more importantly, I will not have my firearms pre-emptively taken away, like those of law abiding citizens in New Orleans during a hurricane.

It is a dilemma: carry for protection at the risk of facing early confiscation, or protect my weapons at the risk of facing harm. Life was simpler when I was in high school, a time when people respected firearms and each other, and the government hadn’t gone rogue.

          • Ronald R. Johnson

Trust me u are only fooling your self! If you bought the guns you have from any place except from a criminal in a back room or alley they already know u have it and are waiting for the right time and place! If you carry it with out a license and or use it for any reason they [ police] will either shoot you dead or send u to prison for ever or send you to your grave! U are and have been on more radar than U would even think u had been on!

          • MH Snider

It’s called private party, DUH. I assume you only just had a brain fart, Right………….

          • Wumingren

            Exactly. No paper trail.

          • 2nd Amendment Supporter

The Private Party sales are what the gun grabbers are after!!! I have also heard rumors of legislation being attempted to require backround checks to buy ammo too!!!

So I started stocking up on reload equipment, supplies and smelting tools!!! I plan on being defended off the grid!!!

          • Wumingren

I wouldn’t carry it without a license in peace time, but if America started looking like Egypt or Syria, you can be sure I’d be packing heat, but not in a confrontational manner. I’d be escaping and evading all authorities and bad guys. I don’t need to go looking for trouble, but if it finds me, well then I will defend.

          • Shawn O’Loughlin

It is spelled YOU. Private sales are still legal in most states and not all states require you to notify them when you buy or sell privately. btw, only a moron would still have a gun in their hand when the police arrive. When you see their flashing lights, re-holster it or place it on the ground at your feet.

@ wumingren, you can take the course as many times as you want, you aren’t required to apply for a license if you just want to take the course. Just like most things, you can take courses without getting a license afterwards.

          • Johnny Geetar

You’re right Ronald, but the laws of administration still adhere to reality and manpower. In a SHTF scenario, or a nationwide gun collection scenario, they WILL go after governmentally listed folks first. Easy pickings, and they would be stupid NOT to….. I would…… Make a really nice dent quickly and show the higher-ups fast progress.

          • MH Snider

I agree 100%. Screw the government. Shall NOT be infringed upon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • ltfbhh

I also hesitated for years getting my CCW for the same reason, however, after getting a couple Class III weapons (machineguns) they already had my life history and fingerprints, so a CCW wasn’t giving them anything new.

          • Barry Kaplan

CCW is where I decided, that’s it – list or no list. They know or can find out pretty much everything about us already anyway, so the right to discreetly be able to defend myself legally became more important.

          • AZDave

Here’s what you need to remember:
            1. There must be an immediate threat.
            2. To yourself or others.
            3. Of death or great bodily harm.
            4. The means must exist to carry it out.
That covers every “what if” there is.
If you were lucky enough to live here in AZ, and you were legally able to own a firearm, you could carry concealed with no license needed.

          • peace of mind

IMMINENT DANGER, and REASONABLE/NECESSARY. those two things will keep you legal. in the end the threat doesn’t have to have been real. just perceived by the person as being real and being able to convince those that matter that they would have perceived the same thing. REASONABLE MAN THEORY.

          • http://facebook.com/ sick2deathofthiscrap

what one perceives as life threatening depends on the individualize some people’s fear is something most won’t even think threatening but to that person he truly believes he’s gonna die, different strokes for different folks. So who is to say how one perceives danger and to what extent.

          • Rocky Ferguson

My friend, they already know who we are, where we live and many other things that a civilized government shouldn’t know. A concealed carry permit is just a small part of the scheme.

GET OVER IT!!!!!!!

You can avoid the risk of arrest by staying home, in your vehicle or at your own business. Don’t go anywhere else – ever. You should thereby be able to keep a firearm handy at all times. Otherwise, get a cwp, buy guns and ammo at gun shows or from other gunowners, carry a concealed weapon and quit worrying about the govt knowing you own guns. Hide the guns you don’t use regularly. There is comfort carrying legally and knowing I am able to protect myself or others. If the government tries to take our guns, is it your intention to let it?

          • TombstoneLizard

The fact is that there is NO demand or ALLOWANCE in the Constitution which grants government at ANY level from preventing or criminalizing open carry by a citizen who is not a convict. (And there are probably more convicts out there than I care to admit that I rather see carrying a gun than some of police who can usually justify their shooting of someone, regardless of the circumstances!) Remove the protective barriers which pad those who consider themselves “above the law” and you will find the corrupt and unjust. A bright, clear light-equally distributed-will chase away the rodents and the cockroaches. The Constitution was created with such light clearly in place. Let’s blow off the dust of lies which subdue her, and clean her back up nice and shiny again!

          • Michigan_REB

If you bought your firearms for a licensed dealer you are already on their list. As for takign the class most instructors here don’t keep records other then your name for record in case they are called in on an incident that happens later.

Unfortunately everyone has a different threshold of “when they feel there life is threatened.” I believe a woman could use a gun as soon as a man is ready to punch her or abuse her. But if a guy was threatening me with a fist I think a jury might have a different verdict, but then again what if I was a twinkle toe who spoke with a listhp might they say I was o.k. to shot wile under attack. Who is the probable cause police?

          • ltfbhh

That is something they talked about when I got training at Frontsight in Nevada. If a woman is attacked by a man, a jury will almost always side with the woman. Same if an elderly man is attacked by a younger more fit man. However, if you are a healthy man and the attacker is smaller than you, then it can be an uphill battle convincing a jury you were authorized to use lethal force. That usually requires showing that the attacker had a weapon. They also told us about how even an unarmed (literally) man can kill. The story was about a man who had no arms and killed a man by head butting him to death. Ultimately, the police have no say in your fate. They can give their opinions, but it is up to a prosecutor to charge someone, a grand jury to indict, and a jury to convict. The latter is where most of the uncertainty lies, as nobody can predict how a jury will decide. The OJ Simpson case is a perfect example.

        • Christine Guinn

“Simple assault” IS enough, depending on who you are and who is assaulting you. Do you really think a 100lb woman can fend off a 250lb man assaulting her without using a gun?

          • ltfbhh

While historically prosecutors often don’t charge women in such cases and juries rarely convict, a man just slapping a woman would not be considered justifiable homicide. A good defense lawyer, however, can usually spin that into enough of an assault to justify the use of deadly force to a jury. That is why prosecutors rarely file charges against women in shootings. After all, they want to win and only pursue the cases they believe they have a high probability of getting a conviction on. When it comes to using a gun, women have a distinct advantage in the courts.

        • Christine Guinn

“Simple assault_ IS enough, depending on who you are and who is assaulting you. How is a 100lb woman going to defend against a 250lb man

I live by a very simple ideology.
“I will never intentionally harm another person physically, emotionally or financially with one exception. If you harm me or mine intentionally may God have mercy on you because I will not!”
Some observations: Zimmerman’s nose was broken his eyes were black and he had lacerations caused by his head being slammed against concrete.
The only injuries Martin had was a single gun shot wound. Did he cause all Zimmerman’s injuries in retaliation to being shot or was he shot because he was doing the ground pound on a person who felt his life was in danger?
The girlfriend testified that she only heard Zimmerman ask Martin what he was doing. No attack, just a question.

  • oneforjustice

I think it’s ridiculous that this should even be an issue. If Zimmerman is found not guilty in a court of law the he isn’t guilty. Anyone who would riot over Zimmerman being found not guilty is obviously RACIST against Caucasian people and perhaps the best thing to do would be to stand our ground against them !!!!!!!

    • Jeff Lanthripp

While I agree with most of what you say, there is one part that may bear closer inspection. “If Zimmerman is found not guilty in a court of law then he isn’t guilty.”

Do you think O.J. Simpson is not guilty of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman? How about Casey Anthony?

A Not Guilty verdict means the state did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime(s) of which he is accused. That’s all. Someone on trial can be guilty as sin, but if the state fails to prove it, the (correct) result is a Not Guilty verdict. That doesn’t mean he didn’t do it.

      • David

The above paragraph in one phrase: “Not guilty” does not mean “innocent.”

        • Wumingren

True. That’s why the jury says, “We find the defendant ‘not guilty.'” They do not say, “We find the defendant ‘innocent.'”

          • Garrett

Jurors can find the accused innocent, though it is rare. In fact in the Duke Lacros Case, the Attorney General came out and made that statement because of the severe judicial misconduct.

          • Wumingren

It must be rare. Before I made my comment, I searched for cases with a verdict of ‘innocent’ and couldn’t find any. Still, the jury does have the right to find any way it pleases, from nullifying the law to finding the defendant innocent. I believe juries receive instructions from the judge, telling them that they can only find a defendant ‘guilty’ or ‘not guilty,’ but I don’t know what these judges will do if a jury finds ‘innocent’ instead of using the terms they were directed to use.

          • rs1123

I believe the judge can be asked to issue an opinion of innocence in a trial based on the verdict and his/her perception of the facts.

        • Ronald R. Johnson

Pick a case and then let’s see U prove what you say! Trust me u will lose every time!

      • Damaso

It does not not mean he is guilty either.
To equate the millions spent by the Defense on the OJ trial and the Clowns beginning with the judge and the Prosecution team on the other side, it does no justice to this case. This is actually a very low maintenance trial except for the antics of the Extortionists Sharpton, Jackson and the main racist himself exclaiming “he could have been his son” since he is half and half I have yet to hear or see him proclaim anything closely related when white or hispanics victims are concerned. Of course the chief rascist knows very well how to play the game.

      • Ronald R. Johnson

Unless you have a private line to God when the Jury says not guilt it means not guilty PERIOD! No matter who’s cases you want to CITE! Guilty or Innocent means just what it says unless you or someone has a lot of time and money and when u are done ,it still may remain the same!
No one cares what you think, those people on the juries sit there hour after hour and day after day and people like U want pop in and out once in a while and be an expert on the case!

        • Jeff Lanthripp

I don’t have a private line to God or any other imaginary friend. I do, however, have the minimal, basic grasp of reality necessary to know that not everyone who is guilty is proven so in a court of law.

          • rs1123

‘Not guilty’ means not proven guilty under the laws and the court system. It does not mean the person didn’t do it. We all feel pretty certain about OJ Simpson and Casey Anthony having gotten away with something but in the case of Zimmerman I not only expect him to be found ‘not guilty’, I believe he IS innocent.

      • 2nd Amendment Supporter

This “case” should never have gone to court!!! The Police and Prosecutors Office (or DA’s Office depending where you live) had already given a statement to the press that this was a “Good Shoot” in self defense!!! Then enter this punk kids mother who started calling Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton into the mix saying it was murder because he only had some skittles and tea on him.
THEN the Black Panthers were ALL OVER THE NEWS and placed a “Bounty” on George Zimmerman’s head!!! Which had a white supremacist group done that it would have been shown for the crime it was and someone would have been charged!!!
Next enter the White House; The presidential Potentate involved himself and fired the chief of police for not allowing charges to be filed against an innocent “non-black” person!!!
Then there’s the black-on-white violence that ensues. Primarily due to the black community as a whole, which has absolutely no accountability for their actions, and we have the race issue!!!

As far as Guest’s statement goes…Sounds to me like a threat will be stopped!!!

I could care less what color someone is…if they threaten me or my family…Even my neighbors…I will defend ALL against the tyrannical/terrorist threat of black riots (Which the threat itself is an act of terrorism, to sway a verdict on a case that they ALREADY forced into the court with threats of violence) If a storm tears up my city where looters run around or rioters ready to kill you for your food when the economy REALLY bottoms out and our food supply dwindles away…You can count on me and many other “Law Abiding Gun Owners to protect ourselves and our families from both the tyrannical attempt at taking my ability to defend my home and my food AND from those not smart enough to prepare themselves for the worse…while hoping for the best!!!

What Executive Orders have been signed under the “attention” being spent solely on this ignorant trial?? When the media is THIS incensed on taking up the airtime we need to watch the REAL issue going on under that “umbrella” of misrepresentation!!!

I’m stocked up, armed and ready for ALL threats…The foreign as well as this domestic “terrorist” threat!!! Are you??

      • rs1123

But whites did not threaten to riot, nor did they, over Simpson or Anthony.

      • oneforjustice

You do have a good point Jeff. I guess I didn’t think about it that way. Of course I think that Casey Anthony and O.J. were guilty. Personally I don’t think that George Zimmerman was following Trayvon with the intent of killing him but unfortunately that was what ended up happening. Of course we know that George Zimmerman killed Trayvon, he never tried to deny that fact like O.J. denied what he did. Or at least a lot of people believe he did. I believe George Zimmerman was a concerned citizen who was following a suspicious looking young man to make sure he wasn’t going to commit any crimes in a neighborhood that had just recently been hit by a wave of robberies. Trayvon Martin then decided to call his dad and say ” I’m being followed by some creepy ass cracker”. Then he decided to lay in wait of a concerned citizen and viciously attack him as his criminal record proves he was capable of doing. I believe if George Zimmerman had not shot Trayvon he would have had been beat to death. Beat to death for being ” a creepy ass cracker”. George Zimmerman was forced to kill in order to save his own life. He would have been a victim of a vicious hate crime and nobody would have ever heard about it outside of the area it happened in. So was he guilty of second degree murder ? I don’t think so and neither did a jury so therefore my statement of he isn’t guilty.

        • Jeff Lanthripp

I don’t know. I wasn’t on that street that night, I wasn’t in the jury box, and I’m not a mind reader. Given what I’ve read and heard about the case, it sounds like maybe – *maybe* – Zimmerman was in danger only of getting an ass kicking. But he also could not have known what was going on in Martin’s mind at the time, and it is reasonable to fear for one’s life when one is being assaulted. So the reasonable doubt is still there, and a not guilty verdict is the correct one.

Our court system is to blame.

    • OliverBx

That would be unfortunate for society. He is now where he belongs.

    • MaranathaMark

Actually, it is our media and Obama administration that is to blame for this. They have taken a simple justified self-defense case and turned it into a racial charged, circus, capable of initiating a race war in this country. You can toss in Sharpten, Jackson and Neo-Black Panthers for good measures. But make no mistake about it, the Mouth-Piece of the Obama Administration, the Liberal Media is the true culprit here, trying to divert attention from Benghazi event, and now it has come out that Eric Holder had protestors bused into Sanford, FL to further stir and create the racial tensions! Just another Obama scandal to divert attention away from his obvious criminal acts!

      • Damaso

Is that not a criminal offense? For the injustice department to bus protestors into a sensitive area? What is the Sheriff of that county doing, why won’t the governor of florida send in the National Guard to round up the injustice losers?

        • MaranathaMark

When has the law ever got into the Obama Administration’s way of doing something or not doing something?

I think the danger will be in the longer term – the ‘frustration’, if I may call it that, of blacks who feel that justice was not done should Zimmerman be exonerated. While I would anticipate some rioting, the authorities are gearing up for that and these people will not walk into trouble knowing what they could face. Instead, we’ll see an increase in attacks by blacks on whites on an individual basis, not a ‘riot’ type scenario.

(for some reason, my Disqus account is not loading, so I’m going with my name here)

    • Luger Drmc

Did white people go out and riot after the O.J. verdict? No? Then why should blacks riot now?

      • Ronrique

They didn’t but if you remember law enforcement was readying for riots if he was found guilty. So why should they riot now? Good Question, its because of racist jerks like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Barack Hussein Obama like to instigate racial division.

Well, If there are riots, its going to be very local, the rioters will most likely burn down their own homes as usual. And lets face it, the American Public is not going to standby for lawlessness. Its that simple. This whole thing is political and it should have never been brought to trial. The Courts need to be above board and not politicized, you get a fair shake, nobody rioted when OJ walked, Of course he screwed himself at a later date. In my mind he did it, and the jury made a bad call, well they do that from time to time, it still was not a justification for me because OJ got off, to burn my house down. What dose that prove? How stupid I can be? Yep and time and time again certain people will show us how stupid they really are if Mr. Zimmerman is found “Not Guilty”.

    • Ronrique

Los Angeles Police were readying for riots if OJ was found guilty though. There were threats by the same racists jerks then that there are now.

Between Latino and Non-Latinos. It worse than it ever has been and the Liberals are leading the way into a situation that may bring Marshall Law. Who would thought the way to lead a country was thru division of the masses.

    Barry, & Jan (below),

I politely disagree. Although I don’t see large rioting, I do see some. Simply because some of them don’t understand the facts you’ve displayed here. And those, are also listening to the likes of Sharpton and Jackson. Even if they do understand the facts as you’ve displayed them, they will initially start these riots as “letting their voices be heard…”. You and I both know that the hoodlums will be in those crowds and will be looking for the opportunity to reek havoc. These acts of violence will start with clashes with police, burning of efftegies, turrning over of cars and burning them….

The radicals won’t consider those of us who carry concealed, because in their minds, they aren’t confronting us. They are confronting inanimant objects.

Maybe I’m wrong… We will see soon.

    • Barry

Well, we kind of actually do agree. I said more on the local level, not nationwide like many are calling.

To Jan Morgan, I hold a JD and I am also a NRA Certified Hand Gun Expert, that being said, this is a good article but it needed to point out that States that have adopted the Castle Doctrine have a greater freedom to protect themselves, their family and their property. Also I have reviewed the evidence, what evidence I could get my hands on, that pertains to the Zimmerman case and the only legal/logical conclusion I can see is a not guilty verdict. Now if the jury comes back with anything different I would assert jury tampering of some sort! Zimmerman is clearly not guilty and Florida has the stand your ground Law, again any other verdict than not guilt I would suspect jury tampering. There is not nearly enough evidence to convict beyond a reasonable double.

    • Barry

While I didn’t specifically mention the Castle Doctrine, I made the point that more people are able to protect themselves more than ever. That covers it.

Opinions differ on the preferred means of combating mindless “justice for Trayvon!” violence. Some select the AR-15, while others prefer the reliability of the AK-47. Conceal and Carry, The actions are taught which covers the fact that you feel you and your loved ones are in immediate danger, you are taught to take deadly force. Also in the event you feel you are being approached in a threatening manner, then you are taught to take the action of deadly force to protect yourself and loved ones. Anyone approaches me or an Innocent person in a threatening manner, yes I will deem to take action to protect myself and others in harms way.

  • Ronald R. Johnson

If more black criminals want to join Trayvon we now have a lot of C C and I C C more than one gun and have lots of Ammo on hand to handle most problems and wont have a problem staying here on earth healthy and dispatching as many Black, White, Brown, Red, Yellow or any combination of the above colors to join Trayvon! I would prefer that everyone listen to the jury and if you don’t like it complain to the proper people and leave everyone alone who had nothing to do with it, nor should anyone boder the Jury who will do what they think is right!

  • American

This case should never have gone to trial. Discounting the shooting for now, how many injuries did the victim have (I believe zero) as compared to Zimmerman ( busted nose, injuries on the back of the head needing stitches). Anyone; black, white, brown or yellow who is punched in the face and then has his head slamed into the sidewalk several times is going to shoot the black, white, brown or yellow SOB who is doing the punching and slamming.
If Zimmerman is found guilty, it will only be because the system is afraid of the backlash that may occur if he is set free. In any case if a riot breaks out it won’t be the white, brown or yellow race that starts it – but it will be the white, brown or yellow race that will finish it.

  • Adam Scott

I know I not very old or very wise, but I believe that we all should be ready to come to the aid of our neighbors and friends. There is a lot of talk about personal protection measurements, and this is good, but what about those who are too old or sick to defend themselves? Once you have taken care of your person, move on to a bigger sphere of influence, one that goes outside your home, to the neighborhood beyond. If we all do this then any trouble that could grow would be squelched immediately, and hopefully, without violent loss of life. Its the good people around us who lift our existence up from the ground into the realm of human kind, it is they we should strive to support, as well as our own families. Peace be with you all, God bless.

    • Michael B

      Good thinking.

Stock up on sandbags, candles, lay in extra water and non-cook food for 3 to 10 days of “stay at home” and shelter in place.

Organize with your neighbors, neighborhood patrols (2 to 4 men per team, no solo jobs)

  • asoro

This case is more of an attack on the 2nd Amendment and race crap, Murder is secondary, Well it wasn’t even a case until they got political and racial.

  • GR Arnold

I am very well armed, very well trained, and very well stocked up on ammo just for such an occasion. This is scary, and even more so sad, but if we have to get approval of a court verdict via a street mob then our nation has lost the lead in being a nation of laws. If this brings the violence out of people as opposed to bringing the best out of people, then I am prepared to meet that violence in the very best manner I can in order to protect my family.

  • Daniel Odom

    go ahead plz riot

  • Daniel Odom

it gives the police state an opportunity to roll out its tanks and its bombs and its guns

If they riot it will be like shooting fish in the barrel. I will NOT allow them to get anywhere near me or mine. Period.

  • Brian Holland

what do you do if you a confronted by 8 angry rioters? Simple…. spend $16.00. That would be $2.00 per round….

  • MH Snider

Better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6, even with a corrupt Judge.

I know that there wont be any rioting around where I live when
Zimmerman gets off but if any of those mo-fo’s tried to hurt me or my

homicide’ I don’t always pack but when I do they wont see it coming…..

  • linreis

…AND OBAMA CAN’T WIPE THE GRIN OFF HIS FACE….the SOB sees martial law coming with the riots, and we are the victims…those stupid enough to riot don’t care where they get the goods…if blobama gets his martial law we are all stuck with him forever…

    • Michael B

Martial law is possible in specific zones, but it can’t last indefinitely.

      • linreis

oh how naïve can you be? just look at what blobama has done the past 8 years and gotten away with it…he shouldn’t even be in office in the first place…but he is…he is a liar and a criminal, and he is getting away with murder in every respect.. he has shown himself to be a racist and a terrorist in his own right… he is doing everything he can to tear down the CONSTITUTION OF THESE US…he has blatantly used US dollars to supply our enemies… and least but not last: he has been proven to be incompetent and selfish, but there are those who still support him…AND YOU THINK HE’S GONNA STOP AT A LITTLE ROAD BUMP LIKE THIS???

        • Barry

          “8 years”?

LOL, you know how time flies when you are having fun…I’m including his senate seat, where he did NOTHING, voted “present on the majority of votes, and never offered anything positive to make him a standout…his seat was bought and paid for by george soros and bill ayers.

  • JRCancio

What amazes me, particularly in the Zimmerman incident, is how naïve the American public is in not knowing just how easy it is to kill someone. These examples – It only takes three pound of energy applied perpendicularly to any bone in the human body to break it. Zimmerman was hit twice in his temples which can be killing blows. Zimmerman’s head was at least twice slammed into hard concrete that could of cracked open his skull. A paper clip used by someone who knows how to use it can kill anyone. Zimmerman’s nose was broken and the damage is clearly evident – if that blow that broke his nose had been upward bone and cartilage could of been driven into his brain also killing him. Yes, the things they aren’t telling the American public. What frost me to no end; have you ever notice how the black race baiters and racist religious leaders always find some low life on his way to felony career criminal status to rally behind and how they hold those criminals up as heroes? Have you ever wondered why they don’t find real life honest and decent people working hard to make a place for themselves and their families and hold them up as heroes. If there are riots let’s this time hold up as those responsible Jesse Jackson, Al ‘not so’ Sharpton, Obozo-ssA with his ‘my son’ idiocy and the news media. I make this point, about a year and half ago I watched at an event one man purchase $18,000 worth of ammunition, and just after him another man purchased $11,000 worth of ammunition [men driven by one concept – Be Prepared] – people are fed up with the rioting and a government that won’t put a stop to it and protect us all and if riots do come it certainly won’t be anything like the Watts riots of 1965. People today are armed, have ammunition and know how to shoot and they are also aware of their rights and the law.

  • IHateLibs

Its Simple. SHOOT BACK, or SHOOT FIRST

  • Ra Armentia

I don’t fear riots here in Arizona. Those of us who open carry are the minority. The majority enjoy concealed and carry, especially since we don’t have to have permits. Should there be riots, then the population rioting will see a drastic drop.

    • Michael B

Muslims won’t be rioting over Zimmerman.

  • bluejacket

It’s okay to be cautious, but I don’t foresee any physical violence. Only spotty opportunists looking to get some free stuff from unprotected businesses.

    • Michael B

Riots will happen. I also expect roving, organized gangs will head out to the suburbs and houses will be firebombed, gang rapes will happen in suburban and yuppy enclaves, and drive-by shootings of whites, Native Indians, Asians and others will be happening everywhere.

Stock up on sandbags, candles, lay in extra water and non-cook food for 3 to 10 days of “stay at home” and shelter in place.

      • bluejacket

Riots will only happen if law enforcement sits back and lets it “play out.”

  • Lester

I am not sure where Mr Kaplan received his information that it is unlikely that there will be rioting if George Zimmerman is found “Not Guilty”, but I, for one, believe that there will be rioting, but not for the reason that GZ is found innocent, but because there are people that will stir the community into hostile actions so that they can loot the stores and steal what they desire to steal, like TV, Boom Boxes, IPhones, IPads, and other things they can carry off after illegal entry into stores and homes. The thing with the folks that have licenses to carry concealed weapons do not venture out during this type of action and no amount of military force can be used to stop it. There should be a law that anyone who participate in a riot be subjected to a long prison term and any one that uses a weapon during the commission of a crime or while participating in a riot should be imprisoned for a long period of time.

    • Barry

I never claimed I received information, I’m expressing an opinion.

  • Joe

I’m not so sure this will be restricted to the “local community”. There is much “restlessness” in the Black community, mainly due to Obama’s promise to provide all with cars, houses and the like, only to be thrown further in to poverty. Better to be prepared on verdict day than to end up like Reginald Denny in Los Angeles after the King verdict.

    • Barry

I never suggested not being prepared. I will be too.

  • Joe1938

Unbelievable as it may seem, there are many millions of Americans who are not prepared to protect themselves nor their families. That is one reason Antonio Santiago is no longer with us.

  • Dr. Obvious

Florida leads the nation with over one million carry permits. Mine included

    • Incredulous_1

Hey Doc, do you agree with this author? Yeah, me neither. Irrational, illogical, hate-based mob violence will never be deterred by a logical analysis.

      • Barry Kaplan

Logical analysis, no. The sound of a 12 gauge racking a round, every time.

      • Dr. Obvious

in 1992, when Reginald Denny was dragged from his truck and beaten, no one was armed. Whether the inciters see articles like this and have second thoughts? that’s their problem.

  • jim

let them riot i have plenty of ammo

  • http://TexasFred.net/ TexasFred

Stand your ground, don’t START IT, but don’t TAKE IT either…

  • mark schroeder

These maps are inaccurate. In wyomin, the only regulation is you need to be a resident for over a year with no felonies or be on probation/ parole. No permit required, no questions asked. It is assumed everyone is packing. Criminal or not. Very little regulation here in the cowboy state.

    • Barry

I looked it up, and you’re correct! As of 2 years ago. What’s strange is I’ve never seen this on the news.

  • rs1123

As soon as Zimmerman is found ‘not guilty’ I will begin carrying all the time, not just occasionally.

    • Worship Dancer

i wouldn’t wait THAT long to START carrying. start that NOW. that way you will be comfortable having it with you and UNCOMFORTABLE NOT having it.

      • rs1123

Good point. I think it’s time I start carrying much more regularly. The jury could announce their verdict while I’m out and about and I might not even be aware that the danger level has just taken a big jump.

    • Michael B

Don’t wait. You may have no notice, you may hear about it on the radio and have riots break out before you can get home.

      The explosion will be IMMEDIATE.

      • rs1123

Good point. After the Rodney King verdict a white guy riding his motorcycle to help a black lady get her car started did not know that riots were breaking out and rode into a black area. His motorcycle was stopped, someone put a gun up under his helmet and shot and killed him. Things happen very quickly.

Too bad such a worthless victim-mentality civilization has been created. Why? FOR VOTES TO KEEP ONE PARTY IN OFFICE.

  • Justdoit

I can’t wait, Send Mr Sharpton to my neighborhood , we hate racists, a lot

  • http://www.facebook.com/tom.beard3 Tom Beard

I’m sorry… Did I miss something from this article? Was looking forward to finding out how to stop violent reaction from blacks when Zimmerman is found not guilty. All I see is which states issue gun permits.

  • krp2

When the rioting starts Obama is going to declare that a National Emergency and hence Marshall law will be imposed per the many executive orders where Obama has created the means for him to take over all together

  • Scoot

I say let em riot. I need some target practice. Texas has a very positive Castle Law. If they come onto your property uninvited and you tell them to leave, once, protect yourself, however necessary.

  • Johnny Geetar

I understand the author’s premise and conclusions here. I will however, disagree with them.
This is not the mid 90’s anymore. What we witnessed post King verdict was genuine Black angst. What we have here today is generated, manufactured angst, being prompted, supported, stoked and quietly provoked by the US government. Federal handprints are ALL over this one. It is agenda driven and federally orchestrated. There is a game plan associated with this that cannot be ignored. There is an endgame here…….
The media is also fanning the flames here, and doing the government’s bidding concerning the social justice aspect of this. They have been non-reporting or under-reporting black on white violence as it occurs to give this administration and other local and regional governments political cover from the fallout. They have been furiously pumping away to keep air in this tragedy and promote it. We didn’t have this factor quite as prominantly during the King riots. Not like we do now. We also didn’t have social media that is being used to promote angst on both sides of the issue. Folks can now engage directly with their opposition, and the results of that AIN’T constructive dialogue either…..In fact, social media is only EXCASERBATING this.
And finally, i will blame white politicians for NOT standing up and pursung black on white violence when it occured. They were too scared of the race card and political correctness to act when they SHOULD have acted, on our behalf. The result? NO fear of consequences by the black community over fallout from attacking whites. Further, white political inaction has only EMBOLDENED the leftists, anarchists and militant blacks out there. There is no fear of repercussion in them. Theirs is a dangerous mindset going into this verdict period.
All glued together, this paints a very BAD, disturbing, and foreboding picture indeed. In spite of the author’s good intentions here, i would not take this situation too lightly. Be smart, and keep everyone home when the jury goes into deliberation. Avoid ALL mid to large size cities like the plague until this drama has played out and the all-clear is sounded. And get your firearms cleaned, sighted, loaded and ready. If even HALF of what they’re publicly threatening comes to pass, it could transpire into a bloodbath. Do NOT be one of the victims here. Protect your family at ALL costs, and let the fallout sort later and land where it may……. A rioter with a Molotov cocktail in hand standing in your front yard is every bit as dangerous as a douchebag with a gun. Mentally prepare yourself for the fact that you may have to put a few folks down if they become threatening. And show NO hesitation. Your unwilllingness to engage will be disciphered by a mob pretty quickly, and will turn against you in a heartbeat. Make your peace with this now, and hope it does not transpire. if i was a betting man however, i would not be betting on peace in America by mid-week next…. This has been orchestrated FAR too well…….

  • Scoot

I think it is doing White America a huge disservice to tell them “it won’t be that bad.” If we are lulled into a false sense of security the damage will be far greater. Tell them to arm and prepare. Be ready to protect yourselves and those you hold dear. Do not waste time yelling for rioter to go away. That only affords some time to sneak around and get at you. Answer any aggression with the utmost brutality. Decorate your fence posts with those too stupid to pass you by.

    • Barry

Gun owners, especially concealed carry holders, don’t get lulled into anything. Don’t think for a second that i won’t be prepared just in case.

  • pissed off conservative

as much as i would like to believe we the people will fight back?? i dont believe that many will..there to afraid of loosing everything if they shoot at black rioters..as for myself i dont have much to lose..except my life ..so i WILL fight back.but most folks on here are nothing but internet rambos who will hide in there basements..as city’s burn

    • Rattlerjake

That’s why it will be up to the few of us that are willing to risk everything. You’d be surprised at how many there really are and that are just waiting for TSTHTF. Most local authorities will welcome the support, especially since their hands are “tied” and ours aren’t.

  • Incredulous_1

Barry, your contention relies on a “logical analysis” of American’s new-found 2nd Amendment authority. Violent mobs rely very little on “logic.” Emotions will drive the mobs and emotion is the antithesis of “logic.” The fact that many more law-abiding Americans possess the capability of defending themselves will have little to no effect upon irrational, “hate-based” mobs. The real question is: when white people use lethal force to defend themselves against violent mobs, will they be as unjustly demonized as Mr. Zimmerman?

    • Barry

Good question, and let’s hope we don’t have to face it to see.

  • Incredulous_1

By the way, Mr. Kaplan, while I might disagree with your analysis, please do not perceive that as, in any way, disparaging. Thank you, Sir, for your honorable Service to our country. Semper Fi, my friend.

      OOH RAH!!!

  • bubba2001

      yeah, right.

  • sturdyhamilton

We’ve got to do what we’ve got to do. If the black mobs come, we’re ready and fully prepared. All I can say is :bring it on!

  • Douglas Oscar Garner
  • fcsuszka

Good bad or indifferent they will or may still riot. Let’s play what if. Hypothetically speaking, what if Zimmerman is found guilty, he is sentenced and the mob mentality thinks it isn’t enough. What then? Do they go on saying he got justice or do they riot under public opinion sentencing because he didn’t get enough like maybe the death penalty of life in prison.
These people, the “black mob mentality” don’t need a reason. How do you account for the fact they torched a recreational center in a park. Twice! And shot fireworks at police and first responders who were there. What I’m saying is, they shot fireworks that explode in the air at the police and firemen. How do you account for that. Now these dumb rectums have no place to go until they rebuild the center. I’m sorry, the other side of the coin is Sharpton Jackson and the rest of the trash and tripe in and around DC. They will roan the streets robbing and destroying public property no matter what. They do it now so what’s to stop them? The chief of police? He has good intentions but his door to door failed.
Let’s hope all goes well as they say but be prepared for the opposite to happen.

    • RedMeatState

let’s not forget the smaller groups of misdirected blacks that attacked single white mothers “for Trayvon”!! They’re out for blood, they don’t need a reason or motivation.

      Open Season.

  • Joe

George Zimmerman is guilty for one reason… He was given a direct order by the police to stand down & not engage Trayvon & he IGNORED them!! He was a VIGILANTE that night & on THAT alone he’s guilty!!

    • Yode

Quit feeding the bullshit….he was NOT given a direct order….jeebeebus.
Even so, he was standing down heading back to his vehicle when he was ambushed/confronted by the perp….Trayvon. Had Trayvon stood down and went his way, he’d still be alive today.

    • Barry

Try paying attention to the case. The EXACT words from the dispatcher were “We don’t need you to do that”. There were NO orders to stand down. The dispatcher isn’t even a cop.

    • RedMeatState

what authority does a 911 dispatcher have??? Depending on them will cost you your life.

  • Ronrique

yesterdays out of line action from the judge is a little more evidence the court is being forced to throw down a guilty verdict. Along with the testimony from the police that they never should have made the arrest but they were forced to by City officials tells me there is no doubt a guilty verdict is being forced from the highest offices. I do hope Im wrong because if he is found guilty we all are in trouble and can be imprisoned for anything at any time.

  • Janthony132

It is fairly plain to see that Zimmerman is not guilty. Unfortunately this corrupt administration has stuck its nose into this case inciting it to be a racial issue. Isn’t that just typical of Holder and Obama? Yes! It is true – many more American citizens are carrying legal concealed weapons. Why is this necessary? Look at all the gang violence and beating of innocent people by black people. Yep! Black people. Those who support this type of violence and crimes may find themselves in a real pickle when they try to beat someone (any race) who is armed and carrying a gun. Folks, enough is enough. Parents, control your kids and get them out of gangs.

  • Tree Top flyer

I think some one should shut that fat, loud mouth, ugly racist ex-felon, Al Sharpton up, and throw him in jail for going around inciting riots, not to mention impersonating a Reverend!! They can also include that fish eyed, self absorbed moron, Jesse Jackson, as well. Maybe these two lazy, B.S. artists can be cell mates!! They have never in their lives contributed even one positive thing for the betterment of race relations or for this country. All these two frauds do is TAKE, and they are just a couple of bad jokes!!

  • eyeball

Interesting that the “May Issue” states are colored YELLOW. Look, SOME people just look for a “reason” to commit mayhem. They will do so if someone they “revere” (Al Crapton, Spit Lee and others) prod them, because they are bored and on the edge. Rather than getting a job or helping out a community, they look for trouble. Just keep your piece on you, ready to be employed, and probably no one will bother you. If they do, you have the answer to their question.

  • The other Joe

Yeah, we’re all wackjob gun nuts until something happens or may happen. I remember New Years Eve 1999/2000. I went from wackjob to “Hey can we spend the night at your house.” When times get tough you liberals change your tune.

  • lu

Good God people.. a family lost their son because George Zimmerman wanted to play cop. I’m disgusted at the lot of you who do nothing but criticize this young man and his family. Trayvon Martin did nothing wrong and Zimmerman followed him, caused trouble then shot him (an unarmed human being). What the hell is y’all’s problem?

    • DaveHolden

And that epidemic of home break-ins stopped at the same time. Coincidence?

    • George Washington

Hmmmm – if GZ had not been armed, it may have been his family that lost a son. BTW, why was Traythug peeking in windows of houses while eating Skittles,eh. You shoulda been with us in LA for the Rodney King riots.

I don’t own a gun. When my grandfather died forty-seven years ago, we gave his guns away.

I’m sorry for you blair, that’s a very sad story.

      • blair152

Don’t be. My mother and grandmother decided to do it because we were too young.

  • TombstoneLizard

As a young white male growing up in suburban Atlanta in the late 60’s, I can tell you that if I had had a gun, there would have been as many dead black boys as I had bullets, for I was far smaller and often groups would jump me and beat me bloody. It didn’t teach me to be tough; it taught me to hate bullies and gangs and thugs. Even now that I’m far older, if a young black (or any race) man jumps me, I don’t care if they’re 13 or 31-if I can’t defend myself with words or my fighting skills, I will shoot them. And I do not shoot to wound. Be a human, get treated like a human. Be a raging animal, and you will be treated as such. The end.

    • Nunyadambizness

Tombstone and everyone reading this: NEVER, EVER, EVER state to anyone that you shoot to kill. Ever. You shoot because you’re in fear for your life or the life of someone you love, and you’re trying to get the person to stop whatever they’re doing. Period. If you state your intention was to kill, then the situation goes from self defense to murder–“You WANTED to kill [this person], didn’t you? You said so yourself!” Don’t fall into the trap.

Obama’s legacy will NOT be Obamacare, but the re-arming of America through his callous disregard of America’s laws. Holder’s Justice Department shipped people down to Florida to demonstrate at the Zimmerman trial!! Holder is already under a “contempt of Congress order,” and now a blatant violation of George Zimmerman’s civil rights?? I don’t think so. Congress needs to remove Holder from office, by force if necessary. The next step is for Speaker Boehner to appint a special prosecutor to look into the Justice Department’s conduct the last 4 1/2 yrs, Benghazi, Fast & Furious, the IRS, and the NSA. All those found guilty will get a fair trial before we hang em as a first step in cleaning up the corruption in D.C.

law enforcement wouldn’t go near the Rodney King riots in 1992!! But they were brave enough to come back later and try to arrest some of the Korean shop owners that defended their property with arms!!

I live in the boonies, I guess this gives me the motivation to put a “If you can read this you are in range” sign out at the 800yd target stand.

On the other hand no one comes up that road without calling first ;p

What is the deal with no emotions or regret during the trial? Zimmerman is too cold.

    • BigUgly666

… and you’re too brain dead …. how long has this been going on?????

    • ronp12

Zimmerman has stated often he regrets the situation happened. Perhaps your perception of his lack of emotion is actually the fact he is experiencing a living hell and doesn’t want to do anything to give anyone reason to say things caught on the camera like: “he smiled” – he must not be taking this seriously, “he laughed”, so he must think this whole thing is funny – “he looked angry”, so he must be mean – “he winked”, so he must be arrogant… You get my drift. Put yourself in his position and think about what you would do, which if you were smart would be ‘nothing’. Then of course, someone like you will say – “he isn’t doing anything”, so he must be cold.

Anyone who’s thinking ‘skin pigmentation’ is still the overriding issue in race relations in America is more the ‘exception’ than ‘rule’. It’s cultural differences. Across the board, it’s the projected appearance, the prevailing attitude and the demonstrative actions of a person that we all ‘profile’ – that’s what is noticed, that’s what is used to assess risk, that’s what is applied when deciding whether to build relationships or avoid them. Color is a ‘pigment’ of our imagination. Behavior is the real deal.

It’s simple – if they act like rabid dogs, put them down like rabid dogs.

For me, the lesson learned is, if I am ever faced with defending my family, my self, my property or the property of my neighbors I will not call 9-11 if I believe the crime will occur before the police can arrive to stop the crime from happening. Once the lethal shot has been fired and the crime has been stopped, I will go have me a steak dinner as though nothing ever happened. Lets imagine for a moment, had Zimmerman chose to do as I said I would do if need be, he would be free, the punk kid Martin would be classified as a gang land slaying by police. None of this would be happening today. One dead punk kid thief off the streets. Is this not the objective? The claim to heroism is not worth the pain nor is a sought after reward for me. Only the objective, remove the trash from society that the cops are afraid of. After seeing all the body tattoos on the punks arms there is no doubt the cops would have shut the books on this killing that same night to have never been reopened. He would be just another dead punk gangsta killed by his own kind. Think before you shoot, wipe all finger prints from ammo before loading, aim carefully at the head right above the nose, squeeze the trigger lightly, then walk away, let the witnesses describe what they seen, make sure it was not you. Sadly this will be the attitude of many, especially if Mr. Zimmerman is found guilty and does time for a crime he really never committed. I do not go a looking, however if these punks find me, I am ready, legal ready…

Racism among blacks especially the young have increased dramatically ever since Nobamadinejad took office. I think this administration through the direction of Nobamadinejad’s elitist massa’s is trying to create a race war by the way.

What all know especially black people each night on the news in every state of America some white person or Hispanic person of yes black person is killed by a black man or woman with a gun, yet that story comes and goes! Why do merchants in black neighborhoods have bars on their windows, why do old black couples burn alive in their barred homes in black neighborhoods??? Maybe whites should learn from the blacks and every time a black man kills they should march and burn black neighborhoods! “BOTTOM line there is two guilty persons here in this tragic story, travons parents, on video from travons phone they found films of him filming his friends attacking and beating homeless people while travon laughed aloud,{showing he felt he could attack and beat or kill who ever he desired} he caring nothing of the rights and freedom of that homeless man! Also finding him filming his ill gotten jewelry, and him just being kicked out of school for drugs possession, and his girl friend saying travons last words to her was some strange looking cracker was following him! If his parents would have taught him respect instead of hate of whites and all none blacks, he travon would be alive, if he would have merely stated yes sir and no sir, or say I will leave instead of attacking and cussing the cracker he travon would still be alive! If his parents would have made him this honor student they tried painting him with respect for his elders and other peoples lives and property he travon would still be alive! Sad another case where the parents fail and society must pay! And the media especially the leftists liberal media did all they could to bring riots for many good days of advertising and live coverage of the abused neighborhoods! Now and few will even turn their heads attacks across America of white people and hispanics by blacks will rise, and the only time a story will be found is if again one or two of these innocent people attacked over powers and instead kills the crazed attackers!
