Obama and his anti-gun thugs push for gun control in this country has resulted in history making record sales in guns and ammunition.
You would think other anti-gun activitists would get it that the harder they push to strip Americans of their gun rights, the more determined Americans are to buy guns, train, and fight back.

Take gun control advocate Shannon Watts for example.
Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action and co-founder of Everytown for Gun Safety alongside former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, has blindly chased one target after another, setting her sight picture on people and businesses she really knows nothing about.

Case in point, At the NRA convention, during Watts protest rally (which was a joke by the way) she was approached by a man who asked to have his photo taken with her. She was all smiles and agreed then her mood changed dramatically when she found out who the man was.

The man in the photo is Tod Kauranen, the design director of the gun stock manufacturer Slide Fire.
Watts and Slide Fire have clashed before, when she led an unsuccesful attempt to remove a Slide Fire billboard.

It seems Watts efforts to destroy Slide Fire’s busines have had the opposite effect that what she intended..
All the publicity of the clash really gave Slide Fire and the firearm industry a boost.
Business has been better than ever!
Kaureanen says he just wanted to say thanks to her for all the publicity for his company..
“Keep it up, because it has been doing great,” Kauranen reportedly replied.

  • This is possibly the greatest slap in the face of the anti-gunners in history. I had a nice hearty belly laugh when I first heard about this. Way to go Mr. Kauranen.

ANTI-GUN? Well, let me ask this: would you rather have a gun in your hand or a cop on the way 10 minutes out?

    • Bicyclelicker

Now, where in the seven hells would I find a use for a cop? They’re not even good for pulling weeds in the garden (but, they’ll watch to make sure you do it right)

    • mathis1689

As the old saying goes-it’s better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

10 minutes would be record response time. One of my students (I teach a firearms course) decided to buy a gun because it took the local PD 1 hour and 40 minutes to respond to a home invasion!!! He used to be a liberal democrat, but that woke him up. Now hes a straight up gun toting Patriot, not to mention a doctor.

Also, another one of my students is a dentist in a great high class neighborhood who had a crack head rob him in his practice at gun point and took all the demerol and other narcotics in the office. He told me he hit the silent alarm, and the guy took his sweet time robbing the place and was gone by the time the cops showed up 35 minutes later and never did manage to catch the guy. If your relying on the local PD to protect you, youre probably gonna die.

        • American Infidel

That’s why I’d rather have my 9mm and not depend on my local cops.

          • gary

Thats pretty much the general consensus of most of the people I know AI. Youre not alone.

  • Shorty Stuff

Liberals don’t seem to understand why cops are called first “responders”. It’s because they “respond” to something that has already taken place, which is why they’re not called first “preventers”. The best “prevention” is the sidearm you’re carrying.

    • Sardi

Well actually, a cop can be a “first responder,” but more often it would be an EMT, or even a nearby Good Samaritan, depending on the nature of the emergency. Police certainly is not synonymous with “first responders.”

Second, many police forces and municipalities actually put a lot of emphasis on crime prevention. There’s been a shift among experts toward a school of thought referred to as “community policing.” This is defined by the U.S. Department of Justice as “a philosophy that promotes organizational strategies, which support the systematic use of partnerships and problem-solving techniques, to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime.”

People have come to realize that certain social conditions give rise to crime–lack of access to education, poverty, etc. If you can improve social conditions, then you can reduce crime rates.

yea it work so well, was there when it started early 70s, all gone by the way side.

      • Karll

Liberals answers to social problems that THEIR policies have caused is to do more of the same.

  • Karll

I’ve read that there are a purported 80+ mil legal gun owners in the U.S. If 90% of them would vote against the gun grabbing party, the democraps would never win another national election.

  • Dodie1990

Gun owners need to organize. Only 10% or fewer belong to any organization. Organizations with money is what lawmakers respond to. We need a lot of money and power to fight Bloomberg and Soros and the anti 2nd amendment crowd. If we lose our guns due to registration we only have ourselves to blame. Join, contribute, fight,

And Yamamoto said to his generals – You have to be crazy to attack the USA – there is a gun around every corner and door – and that is why we are still free – you can not own a gun or just leave the country if you libertards feel that strongly – in other words, act on your convictions rather than project your senslessness onto others b/c of your ineptness
