I’m watching Fox News this morning, listening to Republicans at the committee hearing, whine about the fact that they are not getting the VA email records they requested in a timely manner.
They complain that the VA is sifting through emails and only providing copies of the email correspondence that is vague and does not shed light on the investigation.
Selective filtering…. so to speak.

So…. I’m a bit confused.
The United States Government through NSA can spy on our email, our cell phone conversations, texts, and our social media pages and message center.. There is no where for average Americans to hide from Big Brother when he wants to know what we are up to.. HOWEVER, the government WILL NOT spy on its own agencies…
Suddenly, respect for privacy is an issue and the only information the government can get from the VA is what the VA choses to supply.
Hmmm… Why can’t average law abiding citizens have this kind of control over our privacy?
For example, if the you don’t pay your taxes, how long do you think the IRS will stand by as you tell them you will give them what YOU want them to have, when and if you decide to give it to them and they are can’t access you bank account, the accounting department at your job to take your paycheck, or access your personal property to get what they want.

The VA, like the IRS would not exist without “the people” and our tax dollars that pay for their existence.
When “the people” come calling through our representatives in Congress, and we want answers about how our money is being utilized, those agencies and their employees should jump through hoops to give us what we want immediately.
We should have complete access to information requested.

The arrogance of people like Lois Lerner, representing those agencies, to face the American people and simply plead the 5th, is unconscionable.

I am calling for the dismantling of the VA and the immediate arrest of all who refuse to comply with subpoenas and Congressional requests to appear for questioning.

When the VA refuses to answer “we the people”, refuses to respond to subpoenas from Congress, refuses to send in the people Congress asked to question and instead tells Congress who the VA will allow to be questioned, IT IS PAST TIME TO CUT OFF FUNDING AND ALLOW ALL VETS THE SAME MEDICAL INSURANCE AND CARE THAT CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT HAVE ACCESS TO.
If Congress and the President had to use a VA hospital for their services and care, I wonder how long the system would be substandard….. How many Congressmen would die waiting for care, ya think?

I am sick of the arrogance of government agencies refusing to answer the people who pay their salaries.

They should be informed there are only two options, cooperate or incarcerate.

Well, I’M sick of the GOP in Congress waffling on stuff. The House has the LEGAL, CONSTITUTIONAL right to have people arrested, (like Lois Lerner), but to date have done nothing but whine about things. If they’d stand up, like Trey Gowdy has, & say enough is enough, & starting throwing people in jail, some of these scandals might actually get solved.

This whole VA thing is just a “Wag the Dog” tactic to get the people’s minds off of BANGHAZI. How is it that you don’t see the fact that when the heat gets turned up on our “Lying Sack” president they manufacture another problem? Dammit wake up, Please!!!

    2 Timothy 3:

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their ownselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was……

I am for dismantling and dissecting every agency in government, one by one. Take apart the VA, investigate everything to do with it, prosecute all wrong-doers. Then replace who is going to jail with new people after setting up proper checks and consequences so it will not happen again. Then move into the next agency, rinse and repeat. No resignations to escape prosecution. No deals to get bigger and bigger fish. The only thing someone can be given in exchange for getting people further up the food chain will, at best be a better prison than they will go to if they don’t cooperate.

Pay scale for government workers need to be the same, not 1 penny more than the same position in the private sector. There is no difference between what an enginner in government and an enginner in the private sector except the private sector engineer does a better job. Same with all other jobs I am all for having a review of our Constitution and taking out all the Amendment our lawmakers have put in it that favors them that does not apply to all American citizens equally. All Congress and the executive branch should be in the Social Security system with the rest of us. No Golden Fleece. If anyone should have a super retirement like that, it should be any combat veteran. Ones who have been to war. Not peace-time vets although they should have good retirement due to the fact they enlisted and trained for the nation’s protection.
