Michael Bloomberg’s right hand man in his anti-gun organization, “Everytown for Gun Safety,” has left the organization and is now making some admissions that support what gun rights groups have been saying all along…

Mark Glaze, the former executive director of Bloomberg’s organization, is admitting in an exit interview with the Wall Street Journal that the proposals outlined by the gun control group and sent to Congress, would not have prevented mass shootings in the past and won’t stop them in the future.

WOW… If Glaze has figured this out, you have to wonder how many other members of Everytown have come to the same revelation but are choosing to ignore the facts in order to continue pushing through personal agendas.

Here are Glaze’s exact words:

Mr. Glaze said “the movement hasn’t solved one of its signature problems: Many mass shootings wouldn’t have been stopped by tighter regulations proposed by gun-control advocates, even if they might have prevented other gun crimes.”
“The most attention on gun control comes after mass shootings – just look at the post-Newtown push and the brief attention paid to the issue after the Memorial Day weekend shootings in Isla Vista, Calif. Yet virtually none of the solutions gun-control groups are pushing would have prevented any of the massacres that capture public attention.”

“Because people perceive a mismatch in the policy solutions that we have to offer and the way some of these mass shootings happened, you know, it is a messaging problem for us, I think. … Is it a messaging problem when a mass shooting happens and nothing that we have to offer would have stopped that mass shooting? Sure it’s a challenge in this issue.”

So… there you have it. A gun control advocate admits that gun control advocates aren’t actually about preventing the problem of mass shootings and gun related crimes, but instead are about giving the government more control over our lives. Their goal is to strip Americans of their constitutionally protected Second Amendment rights.
