Screen Shot 2014-06-10 at 12.53.34 PMWhen Jack in the Box decided to ban guns on their property, law abiding citizens with permits to carry guns, STOPPED eating there and criminals with guns discover it is property filled with defenseless people waiting to be victims of crime.

There has now been another armed robbery at a Jack in the Box restaurant in Texas just weeks after the chain asked legal gun owners to leave their firearms at home.

According to Houston News, “Police are asking for help identifying a possible suspect in an armed robbery. The robbery occurred around 2 a.m. Monday, June 9. One white male subject held employees at gunpoint shortly after 2 a.m. at the Jack in the Box on North Main in Liberty.”

In an incident only a couple of weeks ago, a NW Houston Jack in the Box restaurant was targeted by armed robbers in broad daylight.

In two other incidents, one of which was also in Houston, and one in Tennessee, people were actually shot.

Anti-gun activist group Moms Demand Action pressured the restaurant chain to ban guns in their restaurants.
Jack in the Box issued the following statement: “Creating a warm and inviting environment for all of our guests and employees is a top priority for Jack in the Box. The presence of guns inside a restaurant could create an uncomfortable situation for our guests and employees and lead to unintended consequences. While we respect the rights of all our guests, we would prefer that guests not bring their guns inside our restaurants.” – Jack in the Box VP of Corporate Communications Brian Luscomb

Okay Brian Luscomb… so hows that gun free zone thing workin’ for ya? You have earned yourself a coveted spot right up there with all the rest of the foolish anti-gun liberals who can’t see the forest for the trees. Oh… and how does it feel to have the innocent blood of patrons on your hands Brian? Just think, if only one law abiding citizen with a concealed carry gun had been allowed to eat in your restaurant, less people would have been shot and you would not be standing there today with blood on your hands trying to figure out why bad guys with guns didn’t abide by the “guns prohibited” sign on your door.
What your sign says to criminals is this: “Come on in and take what you want here. There is nothing inside but a room full of innocent defenseless citizens waiting to be victims. We have disarmed them for YOUR CONVENIENCE.!! – © 2014 JAN MORGAN

I wonder what Brian will have to say as the lawsuits come rolling in???? And don’t forget to drag in Moms Demand Action while you’re at it.

    • violater1

The money person behind them is who they want ro nail to the proverbial wall BLOOMINGIDIOTBERG!!!!

      • Testa Sterone

I’m all for that. Name him as a co-defendant!!!

  • LTC Graz – retired

It seems that the only people who have obeyed the rule is the law abiding gun owners. Which they usually do.

    • aschark

I’m kinda late on this, but maybe if this reaches 1 person, it’s worth it.

Here’s a rundown on “gun control” in the late1700’s:
Italy’s Cesare Beccaria said the following in the 1760’s :”The laws that forbid the
carrying of arms…” “…disarm those only who are neither inclined
nor determined to commit crimes. Can it be supposed that those who have the
courage to violate the most sacred laws of humanity, the most important of the
code, will respect the less important and arbitrary ones, which can be violated
with ease and impunity, and which, if strictly obeyed, would put an end to
personal liberty — so dear to men,” “…and subject innocent persons
to all the vexations that the guilty alone ought to suffer? Such laws make
things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather
to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”

Enjoy your meal at Jack in the Box. I’ve heard rumors that a sign was put up in a residential: “The house next door does not believe in firearms. We do”

  • Clay Fitzgerald

When will they ever learn. Creating a so-called “gun free zone” is just an open invitation to criminals to do what they will… ignore the rule with near impunity and rob the place, including the disarmed patrons.

  • violater1

What a hoot Jan! Let it be known to all our readers this Lady does not play or mince words! Me thinks she say’s what she thinks as well as thinks about that which say’s! GOOD ARTICLE! and another Happy Anniversary to ya!

  • Patriot One

It’s not “less people” but rather “fewer people.”

Having a gun didn’t help the CCW holder in Las Vegas this week, as he was gunned down before taking any action.

    • HappyClinger

It’s not “less people” but rather “fewer people.”

That one drives me crazy too. Along with “He gave it to him and I.”

    • Bob McMahan

You could argue that if he had not been carrying that day, he would still be alive. Then too, if he had used better tactics, he might have been able to nail the wife. Tyler, Texas comes to mind. If you intervene, there is a good chance you will be shot, either by another bad guy, or by responding officers who see you as one more threat. All that said, we have to decide if we are going to accept the dominence of bad guys or kill them as they identify themselves.

Well …. the nerve, DUH, stupid is as stupid does.

    Why I Carry a Gun!

My old grandpa said to me ‘Son, there comes a time in every
man’s life when he stops bustin’ knuckles and starts bustin’ caps and
usually it’s when he becomes too old to take an butt whoopin.’

I don’t carry a gun to kill people.

I carry a gun to keep from being killed.

I don’t carry a gun to scare people.

I carry a gun because sometimes this world can be a scary place.

    I don’t carry a gun because I’m paranoid.

I carry a gun because there are real threats in the world.

    I don’t carry a gun because I’m evil.

I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world.

I don’t carry a gun because I hate the government.

I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.

    I don’t carry a gun because I’m angry.

I carry a gun so that I don’t have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.

I don’t carry a gun because I want to shoot someone.

I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed, and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

I don’t carry a gun to make me feel like a man.

I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.

    I don’t carry a gun because I feel inadequate.

I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.

    I don’t carry a gun because I love it.

I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.

    Police protection is an oxymoron.

    Free citizens must protect themselves.

Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after
it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

  • Tired of the anti movement

I think that all legal gun owners should let Moms Demand Action, and other such groups support support all business with these signs. I will

  • ADRoberts

Corporate leaders are likely to be Bilderbergs. And we all know that they have NO CONCERN for people, safety or their own businesses. They just want to take America down.
It continues to amaze me how lacking in intelligence, corporate leaders are. I watched UP Railroad for years, angering their employees, cutting corners on safety and spending money on railroad ties that they MADE sure would rot out quickly. Why did they do that? They owned the company that made the ties. (We used to see ties with date nails in them showing they were 60 and 70 years old. Now they last FIVE years at most.)
And all corporations are the same. Buy an office chair locally for $90. NO TAKE IT BACK. Buy it from a catalog of a company owned by the CEO’s daughter. PRice $900.
Same thing with the Boy Scouts. They are going down in numbers. Even if a troop has no deviants, they don’t want to support those deviants or the CEO of ATT who forced this agenda. (I don’t do business with AT&T)

    • Bob McMahan

I don’t believe all corporations fit this bill, although many of them do. As we learn who is who, we can act accordingly. You statement that you do not trade with AT&T shows that you are doing so. G-d Bless.

      • ADRoberts

        Do you preach.
        Do I know you?
        Do you know me?
By the way, you can spell it out. GOD BLESS.

  • colsooonscoorner

Gun free zones just invite the crook or crazies as in Sandy Hook etc. It’s just what the tyrants want that is take away the 3nd Amendment..

    • Sunshine Kid

I’ve never heard of the 3nd Amendment. I know, typo; you meant 2nd Amendment. 😉

      • colsooonscoorner

You’re right ya got me LOL Good thing I wasn’t a secretary. I’d of been out the door the first week.

        • Sunshine Kid

Just create a position called “sexy-tary”, and you got it nailed! Don’t have to do anything but make mistakes and make people smile. A little humor there, no offense meant, so don’t send the PC police out to get me – I’ve gone fishing!

  • D.Guardian

…I think that Roscoe, the stick up artist, is moving to Texas. The guy stole somebody’s computer and is googling all the addresses of jack in the box in Texas. You know what they say, go where the money is.

  • Eduardo

The anti-gun crowd will probably jump on this and push for the need for more gun control laws to prevent these attacks on innocent civilians. What they do not understand is that criminals do not care about gun control laws and they will get their guns illegally. Gun control laws only leave law abiding citizens helpless and unable to defend themselves from law breaking criminals.

  • Sunshine Kid

Take the logo, print it on sticky paper, and affix it to the businesses where the “gun free” policy is in effect.

  • dmbunce

    Serves ’em right. Idiots.

  • HCUA

If you want to eat there, just hide your gun and go in. They request that you don’t bring one in, and you are not going through a metal detector, so, how would they know? The life you save might be mine.
Just because they ask doesn’t mean that you have to obey. Maybe the CEO of their company looks like Jack, with a big, dumb head.

  • icemancold

WELL if i was one of the patrons shot or if it was a family member I would be SUING Jack in the BOX,Moms Demand Action,Bloomberg. I would sue each individually and I would sue all as a group. The sum of 25 million each and 500 million as a group sounds about right. The President and CEO of Jack in the Box would have to sell a lot of burgers to stay afloat. Bloomberg wouldn’t be hurt that amount is petty cash for him but it may get a few anti gun nuts to thinking that their STUPID IDEAS are just that STUPID IDEAS. CRIMINALS are CRIMINALS because they refuse to obey the rules and laws to start with.

  • Tom W.

The “Moms Demand Action” crowd is so misguided it’s not even funny. I hate partisanship, and yes there are crazy and violent people of all stripes, but I must point out that the majority of homicides are committed by Democrats or Democratic constituencies. They need to police their own house before going after others. I guess being PC is more important than looking at the facts.
