On this day, a year ago, I said, “I do”…..
I said it without hesitation, knowing I am the luckiest woman in the world, about to embark on blessings beyond my wildest dreams.

My husband, Bob Paskvich, is a very private man so I’m not going to say too much here, other than this:
In every woman, there’s still that little girl who dreams of finding her handsome prince and living happily ever after…
Unfortunately, reality sets in and many women simply give up and settle for what is tolerable.

From the moment you walked in to my life, I knew you were my Prince and from that day forward, the reality of life with you has exceeded all my dreams.
It seems that all my life, I’ve been making my way to YOU….My biggest regret is that it took me so long to get here.

I am so thankful for your masculine strength balanced by your gentle ways, your integrity and work ethic, your brilliant mind yet humble disposition, your compassionate spirit and the way you believe in me, what I stand for, the personal sacrifices you’ve made to keep me safe in the face of threats that accompany my public exposure, your passion for your country and all that is honorable and just.. and the way you tear up when I’m delivering a public speech even though you’ve seen and heard it over and over again… 🙂
You are my “ideal” man, Robert Lawrence Paskvich.

I’m so thankful that during 25 years of being single, you had not “given up” and settled for “acceptable” simply to fill the void.
I’m so thankful that you believed in chemistry, that it was worth holding out and waiting for. Lucky me.

When I said “I do”, I meant that “I will” be yours for the rest of my life, and I can’t wait to spend every amazing moment that I have left with the man who is truly my Knight in Shining Armor, the man of my dreams and love of my life!

You once said you wanted to spend your life trying to be the best thing that ever happened to me.
That’s already a done deal.. mission accomplished.
How about we just relax now and enjoy the ride!

I love YOU “Paks”
Happy Anniversary Baby!

Sentiments like these flowing back and forth are what keep couples in love. Marriage is hard work; when the glow dims a bit remember the special reasons you “fell” in love.

    • thanks so much GQ4U… and yes.. he is all of that and so much more..
      I am blessed..

In September my wife and I will have enjoyed 44 years of marriage. Hang in there when its tough and never forget why you chose him and the spark will always return. And don’t forget how special you are as the years wax on.

May you both live happly ever after & may your Prince charming believes in everything that we do as a conservative. Be aware tho………July 1st.

  • Don Hendrick

Also when that day arrives Jan on 7/1/14 that you backupm all your conservative friends that made you what you are today. Our country is in very deep trouble & in very grave danger on that day and hope you are fully aware of what is about to take place when that big day arrives…….many people will be hurt on 7/1/14 and I do meen many people will not know what to do or how to cope with it so maybe you and your prince hubby can give & layout some pointers of what to do or go before this happens on that special day 7/1/14.Many of us I know will not survive and no thx to Obama for his daring efforts and ideas that will come forth on that day. There is a new saying for all us conservatives “one for all & all for one” which is our new motto.

You are most welcome. We found our true love 54 years ago. It is the power that makes the promise, in sickness and in health, bearable. Hope yours remains as strong as ours has.

  • Rattlerjake

Seeing it from a man’s eyes, HE’S THE LUCKY ONE!

You don’t have a sister by any chance (that’s available), do you? :^)

    • Actually … I do Rattlerjake.. she is on my Facebook friends list.. her name is charlotte morgan hartwell..

      • Rattlerjake

    Happy Anniversary you two!

I have her beat. My husband of 32 years has brought me coffee EVERY morning of our marriage. He cooks all three daytime meals. He waits on me hand and foot and always puts my needs before his. When I was in the hospital for surgery, 3 times, he laid with me day and night tending to my every need. The nurses loved him. I am surely blessed with the best husband that EVER walked this earth and that ever will.

    • Rattlerjake

That’s not a husband, that’s a nursemaid. You may think he’s the greatest husband, but it sounds more like he’s insecure! It’s one thing to take care of and love your wife but constant pampering and coddling is sickening. It’s also interesting that you mention NOTHING about what you do for him, which tells the real story.

      • machodog

I see that the “green envy fairy” is out today.

        • Rattlerjake

Envy? Not hardly! I don’t envy a man that wears a skirt!

  • mathis1689
