If anyone still believes Karl Rove is a Republican strategist, who is in touch with the values and beliefs of Conservative Americans, I have some ocean front property in Kansas to sell and I will give you a really good deal.

Read what Rove recently said during an interview with Mike Wallace and you tell you me: Does this sound like a man who is even remotely in touch with Republicans in this country?
He sounds more like a DEMOCRATIC strategist than a Republican strategist.

Republican strategist Karl Rove said on “Fox News Sunday” the only way to stop gun-related violence, like the Wednesday massacre at Emmanuel African Methodist Church in Charleston S.C., was to repeal American citizens’ Second Amendment rights.62

When Chris Wallace asked Rove how we can, “stop the violence,” the long-time gun-rights advocate stated that we have made great strides as a nation in empathizing with the victims of these types of shootings, but the only way to guarantee they will stop is to “remove guns from society.”

WALLACE: How do we stop the violence?

ROVE: I wish I had an easy answer for that, but I don’t think there’s an easy answer19

We saw an act of evil. Racist, bigoted evil, and to me the amazing thing is that it was met with grief and love. Think about how far we’ve come since 1963. The whole weight of the government throughout the South was to impede finding and holding and bringing to justice the men who perpetrated the [Birmingham] bombing.48

And here, we saw an entire state, an entire community, an entire nation come together, grieving as one and united in the belief that this was an evil act, so we’ve come a long way.17

Now maybe there’s some magic law that will keep us from having more of these. I mean basically the only way to guarantee that we will dramatically reduce acts of violence involving guns is to basically remove guns from society, and until somebody gets enough “oomph” to repeal the Second Amendment, that’s not going to happen.

Message to Mr. Rove: This may be too difficult for you to comprehend, but give it a try.
The only way to stop gun violence is to responsibly arm more law abiding citizens. Remove the 30 thousand gun control laws on the books and stop infringing on the gun rights of law abiding citizens..
Criminals don’t abide by the laws. If one person… just one, had been carrying a gun in that South Carolina Church besides the murderer, fewer people would have been killed.
If a majority of those folks in that church were open carrying, then the thug would have walked in and seen this was not the best place to try to make a name for himself as a ruthless killer and likely turned around, then walked away.

The only way to stop bad guys with guns is to put guns in the hands of more good guys.

Karl Rove is a True Opportunist if GOD ever made one. He has always been a Liberal Republican at best and never ever a Conservative. I quit watching Fox News so I don’t have to look at him. Evil Little Man.

Have you ever read “Shooting Back”?
Charl Van Wyk was just an ordinary Christian man until July 25, 1993 – the day that would become known as the St. James Massacre. It was on this date that Van Wyk shot back at the terrorists who were attacking an innocent congregation gathered in prayer, and saved many lives in the process. More than just a remarkable story of courage under fire, Shooting Back deals forthrightly with the consequences of his actions, while addressing the concerns that plague so many God-fearing people in these lawless times, such as: Should we carry arms? When is it appropriate to defend ourselves and our families? What can we do when our God-given right to self-defense is legislated away from us? In Shooting Back, Van Wyk tackles these difficult questions using the light of Scripture and insights from his own experience to make the case for self-defense.

  • I stopped listening or giving a tuppence to Mr. Rove’s musings when he started picking “established” GOP candidates over true conservatives. Repeal the Second Amendment, and there goes the entirety of the United States’ Constitution.

The second amendment A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and beat Arms shall not be infringed. As a liberal I’m inclined to think local national guard while conservatives it is something Karl Rove disagrees with more than I do so clearly he is not a conservative. The amendment will never get repealed but I’ll invite Karl to a liberal cross dressing party. After wigging Karl and giving him a make over in Dixie patter halter top dress with bikini and heels he’ll never be a conservative again but can scare the hell out of Wild Bill Finley mohahahaha.

Rove is just another example of the elite class, more concerned with keeping their power over the serfs than the safety of the subjects. He realizes that the armed citizenry is a threat to their absolute power and therefore the citizenry must be disarmed.
