If you wanted to make sure criminals were better armed than law-abiding citizens, the first thing you should do is make it illegal to own magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.
THAT is exactly what Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti just signed off on…a bill that ensures criminals will be BETTER ARMED than law abiding citizens.

The new policy goes in to effect in 60 days.
After that, even the grandfather clause is tossed out… People who own magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds better not get caught with one in their possession in that city..
The city calls any magazine that holds more than ten rounds “high capacity.”..
I could show them what real “high capacity” is, but it might make them pee their pants.

“I am committed to reducing the gun violence in our city,” Garcetti said. “This ban is part of that larger effort. It will help keep our streets safer and help prevent the magnitude of mass shootings. We are sending a clear message – we will not wait for Washington to act, we are ready to act now.”

Of course these people live in a fairy tale world where unicorns fly and gang members/murderers will immediately in large numbers rush to the city police stations and turn in all of their magazines along with all of their stolen guns, illegal drugs, and pledge to be better, more productive citizens..

The National Rifle Association has pledged to fight the ordinance in court.

Only time will tell if restrict the magazines used in privately owned guns will work. Of course they say the road to disaster is paved with good intentions will it make the city safer I have my doubts.

But you want to believe the fantasy so badly, don’t you?

I have not seen any good decisions come out of California. This is just another in a long list of piss poor governing by Liberals.

The only time they are going to find out how many bullets my mag holds is when I’m barricaded behind my front door. At that point I’m not concerned with jail time just how many go with me.
