Google Have Contract With Doctors To Provide Authenticate Information to Classify Diseases
Google has entered into an agreement with doctors in order to share information curated by them which will help to identify diseases according to the symptoms. After the interaction with students of alma mater St Joseph School, Gomes replies to the question related to dealing with inaccurate information present on the web in diagnosing diseases. According to some students, there are some chances the people may believe that they are going through some hazardous health condition and adopt incorrect diagnosis according to the information available on the Google search engine.
To clear such kind of doubts Gomes answered that the company has done a lot of work before publishing the information on the search engine, for that they have a contract with many doctors to discover out what are the possible probabilities of some symptom. People are getting the sensible and right information by Google because, the information presented on the search engine has curated by many doctors and then it going to add the high quality curated information by doctors from various health care companies, Mayo Clinic, and other medical bodies across various countries.
Gomes visited the classrooms and have a discussion with the students in the computer lab. He said that many things are changed now, but the spirit in a student is the same. He advises the students to be curious because, when someone has a curiosity about something the will follow it and find out more information about it. Don’t just study the things try to understand what it is and use that valuable knowledge further in a creative way. Gomes was born in Tanzania and raised up in Bengaluru. He got his BA from Case Western University in Ohio and then Ph.D. in computer science from UC Berkeley.
